WORTH IT$4,900
I have done two consults in my area and felt comfortable with both surgeons. In the end, price made my decision. I am currently a 32aa and the biggest I ever got to was 34b while pregnant and nursing. I didn't even get enough to look deflated when I stopped.
I've wanted implants for years but I never had the finances to do it. I didn't feel comfortable taking out a line of credit for something that is elective. My hubby didn't really want me to do it because he didn't think it was necessary. After watching me struggle with buying a ball dress that fit my non existent chest, he realized that my opinion would never change. With him on board and finances in place I am ready to make the next step!
I did an in office appointment with Dr. Church at Wilmington Plastic and a virtual appointment with Dr. Zannis. Both were knowledgeable and very nice. I had no issues with the staff of either. Ultimately Dr. Zannis is $2k cheaper for silicone gummy bears so that is who I chose.
I have someone flying in to stay with me and my son for a week and help out. Now all I need to do is pay my deposit! So super nervous about it so I've been putting it off for a couple weeks. The wait is over. Tomorrow I'm going to pay up!

Sounds exactly like my story and I have no regrets about doing it!! This next year i can't wait to shop for a ball dress and actually have one that fits the chest! Have you chosen a date for your surgery yet? Good luck with everything!

Paid my deposit!
kalikmaJanuary 29, 2016
Well I scheduled my surgery for March 10 and paid my deposit. I think I'm more nervous about the money going into this than anything else. I'm not looking forward to the pain and discomfort either, but I'm suddenly feeling selfish. It's a lot of money that maybe we should just save instead.
I have to miss work next month for some appointments for my son, so they agreed to let me do my preop the same day as my surgery. That makes me super nervous too! But it's over an hour away and I would miss at least 2 hours of work to do it before. And I'll have to miss more work for the post op. Deeeeep breaths....
Attached a current size photo. I'm thinking 350-375 but I won't do sizing until the day of surgery. Yikes!

Don't know what size to get!
kalikmaFebruary 22, 2016
I pay my balance tomorrow for my surgery. It's killing me to think about how much money this is and wondering if I'm being horribly selfish. It doesn't help that someone I thought would support me has spent a lot of time judging my decision. She is trying to be nice about it, but clearly she disapproves.
So back to the sizers... I did a cup and half of rice, so the equivalent of 355 cc according to the chart I used. I think it gives me the look I'm going for, especially with my size. I just wonder if I should get up in size just a bit since it will look smaller under the muscle. I also don't want to end up with D or DD. So here is my before and after with the sizers. Anyone out there have any thoughts?

The rice sizers look like a good sized made some for myself but it's so hard to tell how accurate they are lol. I am also feeling very guilty about the money we will be spending as well as the time that will be taken from my little girls while I recovery. I think all moms go through this tho. Your scheduled for surgery 6 days before me. I will look forward to following your progress and see how things go.

I'll make sure to try and keep up with updates. My preop will be the day of my surgery so I'm trying to make sure I have a firm idea in my mind and in pictures to show.

I totally know what you mean about spending the money...Its a lot of money but hopefully it's some thing that you've put thought in to and in the end will make you happy! That size looks pretty natural with the sizers you made! I got 425/475 and they are really propitiate to my body. I don't think I saw your stats in your other post or maybe I just missed it?

I'm all over the place so I probably didn't put it in. I'm a 32aa right now. I wear a 32a at VS since that's what I can find, but there is some gapping there from being too big.
I've definitely put a lot of thought into it but it's still scary.

Okay maybe you did put that in there. What is your height/weight? It's tough! My husband and I made sure we had the money in case something went wrong after and I needed another surgery, some people don't think about that. But I will tell you dr zannis is great! So at least you're putting your money somewhere good!! The sizing was hard but I trusted what he said and so far im happy with the size. I know a lot of people get "boob greed" which I've had a little of, but anything is better than what I didn't have before! Did he suggest that size for you?

I did a virtual consult due to work constraints (trying not to let everyone know my business). He gave me a range and its within that range.
I'm 5'2 and about 105 lbs. I'm aiming for a VS c cup.

Glad you can finally get breasts you'll feel confident and comfortable with! While you're waiting for your surgery, you might enjoy the pre op support of the February 2016 breast augmentation surgery forum. Hoping you'll keep us posted along the way!
