Hello ladies. I had my mommy make-over on the 10th...
Hello ladies. I had my mommy make-over on the 10th of November. After two beautiful kids, my stomach was left with loose skin and covered in stretch marks. After reading many of your reviews, I was motivated that a mommy make-over was right for me. Thank you for that.
My surgery went great. I chose a private clinic who performs their surgeries in a hospital, where I stayed for two nights after the surgery.
The first few days were rough but day 5 was a turning point and now at 10 days post op I feel pretty good. Great even!
After reading many of your experiences, complaints and advice, I have decided to share my journey with you too. I will update my progress with pictures regularly.
Two weeks post
I can't believe how time flies! It's been over two weeks since my mommy make-over and I feel great! I'm walking the kids to and from school and do most household chores that doesn't require heavy lifting. I had an appointment with my plastic surgeon on Tuesday and he was impressed with the results at this point.
Unfortunately I have developed a hyper-sensation disturbance in nipple sensation. My breast are very sensitive and everything from bra, clothing and a searbelt feel very uncomfortable. I know it's quite common but OUCH! If any of you ladies have some good remedies, please share.
It's almost been a month since my mommy make-over! Everything is healing well. My left breast is still bruised and my nipples are still in full healing mode; they change daily. One nipple seems to be rounder and a bit bigger than the other. Also I'm a bit concerned that I've developed a dog ear on my right hip. I've added a close-up picture and would really like to hear your thoughts. Other than a few minor details, I feel great and almost back to my old self. A new and improved old self :-)
6 weeks update
It's been over 6 weeks now since my mommy make-over. Last night I slept without my bra on for the first time in 6 weeks! It was great! :-)
7 weeks post
7 weeks and 1 day! Everything is looking and feeling great. I had my bra size measured yesterday and am now the proud owner of two new bra's sized 75E (34E USA). Sounds very 'porno' but my implants are considered small at 280cc and the bra size sounds bigger than my new boobs actually are. :-)
After 7 weeks my left breast is still swollen and appears bigger than my right breast. I also have a stitch poking out (yuck) on my left incision line.
My TT is doing great and looks amazing! Beautiful incision and is healing very well. I have had 0 pain or problems with my TT since day 1.
