After 60 lbs of weight los my neck became saggy and gross. I didn't want Neck lifted to the down time. So I spoke with a surgeon Ms here we are. I'll be 41 in march. I'm in day two and looking toward to seeing the outcome. It want the most comfortable experience but it wasn't the worst either.

Day three. Very tender. Just feels like a giant bruise. And still swelling but so far I’m thrilled with the results

for any surgery on the skin and soft tissues it takes at least 6 months to see the near result. skin will tighten and then loosen up, at 8 months you see 90% of the long term final result as all swelling is gone and the tissues have relaxed somewhat. Rf treatments are essentially surgery in that they effect the deep tissues with focused energy. this creates a wound, which causes the body to effect a wound-healing response. basically, deep level scar tissue below the skin is formed. scar tissue always contracts with healing, and then after a year it softens. for example, a person inflected with a deep 2nd degree skin burn will at first develop a raised hypertropic scar, which will increase to 6 months or so out, but a year out that tissue will likely have contracted to settle down to a 'forever' topography

I had Renuvian in conjunction with Lipo on my neck. 2 yrs post-surgery, the rippling, bumpy, swollen skin under my chin on my neck has not diminished. It's unsightly and aggravating. Any input is appreciated.

in other words, at 2 weeks to 6 months out the tightness (also firmness) is the skin and soft tissue healing.
