Day 1 after surgery

On leaving the clinic the “cocoon” was removed and my compression garment put on … much more comfy!! I took a look at the state of my face and neck and was pleasantly surprised. There were obviously wounds, bruising and a fair bit of swelling, but I thought it would be so much worse… maybe it will be in a fe more days
Sleep wise ….absolutely none at all the 1st night. I’m a side keeper normally so to stay on my back was not only alien but uncomfortable.
