Neck-lift (with Corset Platysmaplasty)

4.5 months after Neck Lift with Corset Platysmaplasty

$7,800
I never felt tightness under my chin after surgery. I still have the waddle after surgery. My doctor just saw me at a little over 4 months post op. My surgery included “revision insurance” that I had to pay for. He said he wants to do Skin tyte once and for me to wait a few more months to see if the swelling goes down.
I agree I could be swollen, but I clearly have loose skin as well. :-( I want a “real” solution.
To top it off, the “free procedure” to correct my lumpy loose skin is tied to me purchasing BBL treatments.
I’m not feeling good about that. I don’t think this Skin Tyte (especially only one treatment) will be sufficient. Thoughts?

So I just commented on one of your earlier posts and then saw this more recent update. I just underwent a similar procedure. you can check out my review if you have time. it’s early for me but I feel my surgeon did a great job and I’m happy so far. maybe get a second opinion? doesn’t seem you should have to lay out any more cash to our current doc...hope it works out for you. I’m in San Antonio so not far from your area :)
also noticed the scarring behind your ears. is the improving? are your ears the same post surgery as before?
Hello Mombshell. My earlobes, that were extremely small to begin with are almost nonexistent. That is so strange to me.
Yes, the scarring is improving. It is less red, less bumpy.
it is strange. have you heard of “pixie ear”? it can happen after face lifts some time...usually a surgeon error. I wonder what your doc would say about it
glad the scarring is getting better!!
omg! no, I have not hear of Pixie ear! :-( Now I’m freaking out! another issue with my under performed Necklift?
They tend to have you 'wait a few more months' because you are 'swollen' still for up to a year, conveniently, that is when the statute of limitation to take legal action is.
I hope your doctor can give you a review without spending more money. I also notice your scar behind your ears. Is it usually that far from the ear? I really hope everything turns out well for you. I will be having a lower facelift in July. I’m already anxious about it. Mine will include neck and lower face . My doctor uses fat grafting for a better result. I will be starting a review soon.
I have a very similar situation. What worked for me was drinking hot lemon water every day to lean out the toxins that built up. AND weird, but a tiny bit of Botox under there helped flatten the area out. Best of luck to you.

I am very interested in the procedure you had. Where did you have it done and what did it cost? I think it is looking better in your most recent pictures!
Thank you Cheekymonkey48.
I had my procedure done in Texas, you can private message me for the name of the practice. it was $7800
i had neck lipo and platsymaplasty Feb. 27. Cost was $4800 and I had general anesthesia. I live in North Texas. I am still healing but for the most part, I feel like I will have good results. Still very tight under the chin and it looks like one side is a different size but its only been 4 weeks so I think this is very normal.
Hi Caitlyn, your neck appears to have improved, however it seems it should be tighter from a platysmaplasty. What does your surgeon say? In my case, it seems I have a gland that now shows, that wasn’t visible before lipo and platysma tightening, plus I have a forward leaning windpipe. I’m curious to know what your PS’s take is on this. Best wishes to you in your journey !
Hello Suitsmefine, I saw my doctor last week. He thinks I’m still swollen, but I think I had a half done neck lift. I clearly still have a droopy spot and loose skin. He wants o give me one “SkinTyte” procedure and wait a few more months this.
still swollen at three months? I hope everything resolves for you!

Follow up in February. I think walking will help my lymphatic system drain. I’ll try to walk more and drink more water.
