Woke up from surgery 15 years younger!

It’s so hard to believe a year and a half has gone by already! I am still thrilled with my results. As Dr Engel had told me, I think it took about a full year to see my final results. I am so happy with what I see in the mirror. My only regret is I had not done this surgery sooner. It really was life changing for me.

I am a little over 3 months post op and really feel like my results are starting to show. My swelling is very minimal at this point and I am thrilled with how my neck and jaw line look!! Also got my “after” photos done and can’t believe how lifted my face looks now! Dr. Engel really exceeded every hope I had!

Healing seems to be going really quickly now. The incisions around my ears are looking real I good. The scabbing has started to come of bit my bit. On Saturday (day 10) one of my incisions opened up on my head, where one of the staples had been. I was surprised at how much it bled for such a small area! I called the all call-doctor and he advised me on what to do and I was able to get the bleeding to stop. I really took it easy the rest of that day and I haven’t had anymore episodes of any areas opening up. It’s just a good reminder at this stage to really take it easy, especially when putting a shirt on/off, which is what I think caused it to open up.
