I Had Neck Lift and Mini Lift, I THINK?

I was so happy when I was finally able to get rid of my double chin which I had most of life. I was also worried about my small frown I had. So I asked Dr Darm what could be done with that.
He told me that the necklift would get rid of my double chin and I can have a second procedure for half off called a facetite, ( they called it a mini lift) and that would get rid of my frown and jowls. I couldn’t wait. I took Dr Darms advice and I put a down payment to have procedures done.
This procedure was super fast, only lasted maybe 30 min. Swelling and some discomfort for about a month.
I called a few months after the procedure because I was concerned about ripples under my neck and jowls on my jaw. I did not see a difference in my jaw line although I did see a huge difference in my neck. Yet, I was concerned that maybe they forgot to do the facetite procedure. It does not look like I had that procedure at all! I still have jowls and ripples and it’s been 6 months. The “assistant” told me it is looking better, but everyone else who knows me can see the jowls and when I look at old pics of me and it looks the same. I feel like I was charged for two procedures but only had one. I go back in for my 6 month check up in two weeks and I’m curious as to what they will tell me. It’s not like they will want to admit it doesn’t look right. I’m really sad that this is not as great as I thought it would be. Mind you, I was only going to get neck lift but was told I would look so much better if I had both procedures done and I decided to go for it. I use a massage roller on my face every day and I still have jowls. I couldn’t wait to get to the point in my life where I didn’t have to look down and feel my double chin. Now I look down and there’s ripples and jowls so I still have to be careful not to look down. I wish the assistant would have taken me seriously. You don’t see the Surgeon after your procedure. So you can’t talk to them. You just see assistant. I wanted so bad for this to be a good experience. It would have been great to be able to have left a good review.

I think you look really good. I understand why you're frustrated, I'll be curious to hear what the Dr says. How was the healing?

I think he needs to do a revision to get a better result

Please do not listen to anyone telling you that your outcome is ok or that your doubts are misplaced! Your neck is subtly improved but I see zero difference with your face. The jowls look exactly the same as before. As you suggested either they weren't touched during surgery (how could anything be achieved in 30min??) or whoever did the surgery didnt know what they were doing. I'm baffled how someone could even suggest a minilift to you in the first place. I've been researching facelifts for the past 3 years and will have my deep plane facelift in May and even though I had only slight jowling when I started this journey 3 years ago (now very pronounced), the reputable surgeons I initially consultated with about a minilift were very clear that minilifts are basically skin only lifts that are only suitable to a tiny portion of women who have very, very limited laxness. I was clearly told I was not a candidate and judging from your photos you weren't either. My only worry for you is for that given the outcome first time around, even if your doctor agrees to do a revision free of charge he really doesn't have the skill set to give you the dramatic improvement he promised.

I think in the one photo date Jan 2022 you look really good with minimal sagging along your jaw and neck in that picture. I recently had "face tite" at "Dr. Darm's" but he doesn't do the procedure and the doctor who does disapears immediately after an only a medical assistant is availabl for any questions or concerns, and she has no knowledge about possible problems or complications. She only has a script to go by. It is very unsatisfactory and when there is a problem there is no doctor/patient relationship to rely on.
