Quick, safe, and successful surgery and recovery

I Never Knew Surgery Could Be So Comfortable!
WORTH IT
After exercising and dieting my whole life to achieve a more defined jawline only to never see any change, I opted for a surgical solution. I wanted to have my jawline defined using liposuction and/or a neck lift or chin implant. I had researched non-surgical options but found that the surgical approach to be the cheaper route and guarantees more predictable results. I found Dr. Mesa on realself and Google reviews.
I am a nervous and anxious person so naturally I was nervous about the use of local anesthesia instead of general anesthesia. Despite my anxiety, I decided to at least go for a consultation. I have to say it was the best decision ever.
It was determined during the consultation that my jawline was genetic and only a deep plane neck lift and removal of the fat pad under my jaw would give me what I wanted (and possible liposuction). Dr. Mesa and his team supported me from start to finish. They gave me all the tools I needed before and after the surgery to succeed in having a quick, safe, and successful surgery and recovery. They were incredibly kind and always made sure that I was comfortable, especially during the surgery.
I now feel silly for being so anxious about the surgery being done under local while I was awake. I was so relaxed the whole time and the time flew by. I couldn't believe it when it was done! I even felt I could almost fall asleep! I got to hear Dr Mesa instruct his team on every step of the procedure (so fascinating!). It was the easiest part! No complications or post surgery illness from general anesthesia, and it brought the cost down.
I am almost 4 months out and I love my new jawline! The results are better than I imagined and my self esteem has skyrocketed! Dr. Mesa's high review ratings are deserved and if I ever got more work done, I would only use Dr. Mesa. Don't let the local anesthesia intimidate you. He and his team are a confident and tight running ship that care about your comfort. I highly recommend him.
