After researching for months, when I found Dr. Bryant's website, I knew I had found was I was looking for. The whole experience was true as stated there. From consultation to outcome. The only con was that I didn't find him sooner!

I had been very self conscious about the hanging skin on my neck and my grandchildren would constantly "play" with it! My husband even supported me to have it done a few years ago. I looked at several surgeons web sites and couldn't get the courage to contact them until I saw Dr. Bryant's. In preparing for the surgery, I purchased Arnica tablets and started taking them pre-op to aid in healing and the Arnica Bruise Gel to apply. I am a firm believer in vitamins and natural treatments when possible. I only took two pain pills in the two days following and that was "just in case". I took one directly following the surgery and one before I had drains removed. In preparation, a patient should plan to sleep propped up for possibly a little over two weeks. There was never any swelling, only bruising. Follow his advice concerning keeping sutures clean and wearing the wrap to cover the ears to protect the incision sites. I kept a positive attitude and followed all his advice. I never regretted having it done.

I'm happy to hear that your recovery went smoothly and you only needed two pain pills. Thanks for sharing more information about your procedure!

Did you have your procedure done under local or general anesthesia?
