My Experience: Costly, Poor Results, and No Real Revision Discount

I had a neck lift in 2019 by Dr Nashielli, followed by a revision in 2023 due to problems. Shouldn’t have gone back. Dr. Nashielli said she would cover the cost of the revision, but in reality, she essentially did not — the price actually increased by about five times compared to the original surgery.

The neck lift is ridiculously uneven and ugly. I also had a lip lift, which left noticeable, persistent scarring, and stitches were left in far too long. Dr Nashielli took about 5 mins to felt mark out the surgery incisions which evidently wasn’t enough. Post-operative aftercare was poor. Fat-transfer filler to my face was excessive and uneven, particularly around one eyebrow.

Over the course of two trips, I spent at least $40,000 CDN including travel, accommodation, hospital stay and surgery costs, and am deeply dissatisfied with the results, the care provided, and the misleading pricing practices. I do not recommend going to Mexico for surgery.
