Botched neck lift - I look deformed and unnatural

UPDATED FROM lulufrank
6 months post

The lipo left bands and dimpled skin

I was beautiful before, but the lipo left bands and dimpled skin and I was angry about spending tens of thousands of dollars for a subpar result so I let Dr Jacono revise my neck with fat grafting and a platysmaplasty. My neck looked overly sinewy and would look deformed if I lifted my head up, but aside from that looked ok. Now the shape is completely unnatural, like someone scooped out the middle with an ice cream scooper. Yet Jacono insists no fat and no muscle was removed. Why do I have a massive cobra neck now? Why on earth would he remove even more tissue after he had already removed too much fat during the original surgery?

Among the issues I have: wavy, loose skin, strong Adam's apple that was never there before, distortion of platysma muscle, bulging lateral platysma and cobra neck where sides protrude and center looks like it was pushed in w a staple gun. Most of these caused by the massive change in my contour he decided was desirable/necessary despite me expressing no concern or dissatisfaction with that part of my neck
I asked if we could avoid undermining my entire neck (ie, ripping all the skin off my muscle across my woke neck, not just the area with the bands) and he said no, it was necessary to undermine my whole neck. I was scared trusted that it would be ok since he said it was not only not going to harm me, but actually necessary. Now I have problems all over my neck, not just in the limited spots where I had the bands after the lipo. Every time I look in the mirror I get a shock. I don't want to see anyone, I don't want to date. I'm so so horrified and don't know if this can be fixed
show before and after
They are there. The first 3 pics from the update on Nov 2 are before (don’t show the bands which were visible from the front due to bad lipo). The rest are after. The ones where neck looks lumpy and wrinkled all after.
The fat graft must have dissolved that’s why try few more sessions
Hi, I am so sorry for you situation with your neck. Did you figure out what to do? I read about a new product called Renuva. Let me know if you were able to find a solution.
He ruined my face...my neck was perfect now it has lumps...a nightmare- the worst. I will post photo's - good to let people know!

Botched, just awful

Terrible job on necklift. I look deformed. Looked 1000x better before, a bit of loose skin but not deformed and unnatural. This is after multiple procedures with him to fix his errors, all in same area and all botched, where for each one he keeps saying for 6+ months that all issues will go away in another 6 months and then they never do. Started with lipo which he overdid and then to fix it did platysmaplasty (similar to necklift) which made everything way worse.
Also surgical notes don’t match what he says was done so impossible to know if what he says is correct or if he’s just lying to hide his mistakes. I’m in my early 30s and neck looks 60+. So deformed.
Maybe he should spend more time seeing/fixing patients or performing surgery vs working on his coffee shop side project/running marathons/collecting wine.
When you come in to ask questions about what is happening your your face he yells at you and goes on fifteen minute diatribes about how he “knows more than anyone else in the world” about necklifts and by not trusting him that it will all resolve (despite it not resolving the first time when he said it would) you are saying that you know more than him.
His office manager has been withholding my before/after photos for months, in violation of the law, and every time I get my surgical notes from him I discover some new error in them.
If this resolves I will happily delete my review. But so far the medical consensus is that my neck is botched and only Jacono seems to be trying to gaslight me into thinking it looks "normal".

Wow
I had to file a HIPAA complaint due to them withholding the photos. They still haven't provided but hopefully it will be coming soon when the government forces their hand. There are so, so many of us who have been botched like this. Cobra neck seems to be very common outcome. What I and others experience is Jacono doing 1000x more than what is necessary to address our chief complaint, being way too aggressive and creating tons of deformities. I came in for a pinch of lipo right behind chin, and he insisted he had to do full jawline or it would "look weird". That caused my platysma bands to be visible thru skin, plus wavy skin tone w striations from all fat being removed. To fix he did platysmaplasty and seems to have removed even more fat from under the muscle despite me being fine with my neck contour/shape. Not sure if he removed muscle too- surgical notes say he did but when I asked he said he didn't. In any case all of the tissue removal was not what I needed or wanted; I just wanted the platysma bands to be less visible and now I somehow have a cobra neck.
He was also the only surgeon I met with in my many consultations before lipo who didn't touch or examine my face close up. This should've been a red flag but I thought with so many accolades and good reviews it wasn't a big deal. Now I see you can pay for reviews and if you have a good publicist you can make yourself into the "best in the world". His office has lied to me saying they are "paper records only" when I asked for digital copies of my medical records, but then when they revised my surgical notes twice (they talked about surgery to wrong body part; now I know another update will be needed to reflect his assertion that no muscle removal was done) the same minor typo showed up on the last page, meaning it's being edited in a word processing application on a computer (they haven't made any note of changes to the records that have occurred, btw, which goes against best practice)
I’m somewhat afraid to post because I’ve been having a hard time finding someone to fix this and don’t want to experience retaliation from my current surgeon who I have to rely on despite my results, but I feel like I need to warn other women. My life has been ruined. I will delete this if my problem go away but so far, after 6 months and no changes for 3-4 months, it’s looking like I’d need a miracle.
Who did this to you?
