6 weeks out from neck lift & no pain, swelling is mostly gone

my neck and double chin have been a source of insecurity since I was a teen. I would stick out my chin to get as much real estate as possible, would only wear v-neck shirts or wrap dresses, and rarely wore necklaces bc i didn’t want to draw attention to that area. Well, they say the way you look at 20 is a gift from god but the way you look at 40 is a gift to yourself! I had a submentoplasty with Dr antunes on 3/1/23 and could not be more pleased with the results. He is a true professional and artist, great bedside manner, gives realistic expectations and will not try to ”upsell” you on procedures you don’t need. Once i had my consult with him, I cancelled my other consults, I was so confident in his hands. I’ve attached a few before pics, some 1 week after and 6 weeks after
Pain was minimal, mostly sore from the tightened muscles and swelling. 6 weeks out i have no pain, swelling is mostly gone except a little puffiness in the mornings. I got a lymphatic drainage massage to help.
Drain: i had one drain, kinda funky to carry around and sleep with but much better than all that fluid collecting in my face!
I would definitely do this procedure again with Dr Antunes, can’t believe something that caused me so much grief for twenty years is just GONE!
