So for the past 5 years or more I have contemplated having laser liposuction and a breast augmentation.
After doing some research I decided to go to Complete Laser Clinic in Nebo, NC. It was a pretty seamless process in getting everything set up. I called up there and talked to Jennifer, I already knew I wanted to take advantage of their special at that time which was 4 areas of lipo with 1 free area of fat transfer for $3250. I can't speak for how informative they were because I knew exactly what I wanted, was well educated on the procedure, and knew that my expectations needed to be realistic. I was 184 lbs going into surgery and did no weight loss or prep before hand so I was not expecting a 6 pack. I know a tummy tuck would have been more ideal but I haven't had children yet so my focus now was to get rid of the fat.
I will say I was VERY IMPRESSED that my surgery was not cancelled because on the night I arrived NC was hit with a lot of ice and snow. The surgery center was a lot simpler than I expected but everything was very clean. I was given 2 ativan and a bactrim then had before photos and markings done. Dr. John Hamel performed the procedure, he was very nice and addressed everything I was concerned about. The areas treated with lipo was my upper and lower abs, love handles, and upper back. The fat transfer was to the breasts. In total he removed 5 lbs of fat from my abdomen and 4 from my back and love handles. 700ccs of fat was injected into each breast. The worst part of it all was the tumescent numbing fluid and when he was injecting fat into the breast but only because I could hear a "crunch" through the breast tissue and that made me a little nauseous. Total surgery time was about 3.5 hours and I was bandaged up and sent to the hotel with all my meds which was nice not having to go to a pharmacy. Jennifer did a follow up call with me that next day, I didn't go in because I was having no complications and the roads still were not great. I should have prefaced this by saying I am also a nurse so I didn't need as much assistance with after care from the center. I took a friend with me who helped with dressing changes to the incisions and helping me get in and out of bed.
As far as recovery it was a little rough because I went back to work sooner than I should have. I was just really really sore. I felt like a piñata. I'm going on my 4th week post op and I'm very pleased with my results, even this early and with the swelling. My breasts no longer hurt and seem to have settled. I've gone from a 36C to 38DD. I do have some hard spots still but I understand that is expected so I'm continuing to self massage. I wear an abdominal binder to work because it helps with comfort. I do have some scarring but being black I'm more prone to scarring and skin discoloration. I'm unconcerned with these and am still happy with my decision and the doctor I chose to perform it.

Happy for you. I went to him two years ago and was so unhappy with my results that I ended up going to Miami a year later for the same procedures. He did a tummy tuck with no muscle repair and left a huge scar across my stomach. Because he didn't do muscle repair my stomach was just as big after surgery and swelling. He also did a fat transfer to my butt and there was no difference months later. I found out later he is not a licensed surgeon. In North Carolina he didn't have to be. It was a total waste of money for me.

The scar on my stomach is way above the panty line and even though it doesn't bother me much now, it's so ugly. The fat transfer was a fail. My butt looked the same six months later.

Was interested in that doctor until I looked him up and found this :-/ https://glsuite.ncmedboard.org/DataTier/Documents/Repository/0/0/2/5/f930c577-47ef-483f-8a7b-fe6fcff97f88.pdf
Going back to work too early sounds really rough, I hope things are better now! Please keep us posted on the rest of your healing and results. Are you using any sort of scar treatment to help reduce discoloration?
Sounds like a good plan!
