33 Year Old Mummy Wanting Some Breasts - FAT Transfer, No Implants! Nebo, NC

Who really is the best doc in DR? In terms of hygiene and aftercare, not just the procedure itself??

$3,000
This is my question that I'd love answered; who is the best doctor and TEAM in the DR? I know a lot of them finish up with fab results, but I do not want that to be at risk of my health. I mean, I know tat every surgery comes with medical risks, of course I know that. BUT there is so much things I have read about the cleanliness, or lack thereof, in DR. I just want to hear about the best experiences, where ladies have felt super comfortable and relaxed in DR.
I'm thinking again about the lovely Tania? But I've read horrors about here too, though not much in terms of lack of hygiene.
Just to say, I am not tying to ask anyone to doctor bash but this is really important. Its not about how 'nice' the doc is, or how lovely he/she was on the day. I need to know about the results and the hygiene practices.

1 year later, and STILL I have not have either implants OR fat transfer!
SweetAsPieDecember 26, 2016
Its been a minute since I been on here. I stalled on the breast thing, among more and more and more research. I , in August, booked yet another consultation, this time with Dr Patrick Dedoncker in Brussels, but you guessed it, I chickened out yet again - unbelievable right!
Anyways, I've decided I am going to go ahead for 2017; I am going to get my breast implants, and then BBL - but not at the same time (I dont think).
Some questions please:
1. Can anyone recommend any docs in Europe?
2. If it's DR, who really is the best?
3. Has anyone had the BBL and the breast implants at the same time? If so, how do you sleep? Cant sleep on stomach nor on back, must be tricky?
Please help a sister out. And who is going to DR for Easter? Its around that time when I'd like to have the work completed.
Thank you
x

I think it would be super tricky recovering afterwards if you did both procedures at the same time... the bbl you have to stay off your bum and you won't be wanting to lay on you ur stomach right after implants

Yea hun that's exactly what I was thinking. Then I was considering too that I did not want to go through two ops. But I guess everything in proportion so I'll do the breasts and then BBL.
I don't think I'll do breasts in DR though, I feel afraid to get cut out there due to all the complications/infections I've read about. I feel that if I just get the BBL out there, then I'll be safer.
To be honest I'm again having 2nd thoughts about going out there as it just doesn't seem to have the required level of hygiene to keep us safe and our minds at rest.

Ok, one last comment. About traveling for you surgery... I had a lift and implants and had my hubby drive 2.5 hours. We stayed in a hotel the night before but drove home after the surgery. I was all drugged up mind you, so tolerable. But then I had to travel 1.5 hours every week for follow up appointments which was excruciating. All the turning corners and even the tiniest bump in the road was horrible. Plus I got nauseous. Just saying, if you have to travel try to minimize it. My doc didn't like the fact that I had to spend that much time in the car right after surgery. It just couldn't be helped. Turned out I had lots of problems and had to drive 70 miles every week for three months! Just something to think about.
Side note; I had to have my brand new implants removed so I could heal properly, I now have fat necrosis, still have holes by my nipples 5 months out. Still traveling to see the doc. He wants to do fat transfer now.

Oh wooooowwwwww! Thank you for sharing and I'm so sorry for this experience which you have described, that sounds horrid. Are you from the states and had the surgery in the states? I'm going to hop over and read your story.
So would you not recommend implants at all then? And why did you have them removed?
I need to read your story.

Hi Sweetaspie....Happy New Year to you. Yes doing research for such procedures are quite daunting. But stick to your guns and just continue to do your research until you are comfortable with a doctor, a location and the price. I've gone to five consultations so far and I've changed my mind regarding the procedures, ughhhh... I initially was just looking to do a mommy makeover with a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. I have since decided to also get the Brazilian butt lift. Many doctors have said that they can do the procedure all in one day. Which was strange to me because I too wondered how in the world the recovery would be managed. To my surprise.....there are pillow, air mattresses and positions that can be used in order to recover comfortably from the bazillion but left and the breast augmentation at the same time, I don't think I'm quite that brave but it is doable. Not to mention you will be able to sleep on your side. From my understanding with doing the research the recovery time for the BBL has a shorter recovery time than the BA. Also if your considering going to the DR, I am assuming you will be staying at the recovery House which you'll get what you need during your recovery. I did a Google search for Top plastic surgeons for Brazilian butt left and I got a list of all the docs on real self in order from the best based on the amount of procedures done as well as the highest rating for real self. From there I followed all of the stories for the top rated doctors to look at the pics and read reviews. So far it appears that Dr. Maikel Jimenez has #1 rating followed by Dr. Yily De Los Santos; both doctors being in the DR. Yes.... the research and the struggle is real, lol.......keep following your heart ❤️, keep God in all your decisions and when the time is right you'll be posting your journey to recovery. Looking forward to following you my sister. God bless....

Thanks hun. I think I have finally decided (she says holding her breath). I am going to do the implants in Europe with Dr Adam Kalecinski (Feb) and then DBL in DR (April) with Dr Mallol, at least that's what I think. Funnily, I must look at ths doctor Maikel that you speak of, I have never ever heard about him in the time I have been a RS member, which is over 1 year. Who is this person? He has great results? Where is your list then lady? Share it please as I would love love love to see the order of the docs, lol.
I figure the time between the two will give me the breathing space for recovery. I strongly considered the two together but I just dont like all of that stuff happening at the same time. I know they have this pillow and this bed type to support a comfortable recovery but I think about the pressure on my heart and all that type of stuff - it's too much girl.
But I do think I am all decided now, and just awaiting a firm date for breasts and date from Dr M. Sure going to look at this doc you mentioned though, as I am surprised I have not heard even a whisper of him.
SOoooo, have you decided what you will do and with whom?

Technology Really Sucks... I wrote a whole dissertation and only my greeting was posted... Omgeezy; must have been TMI, lollllll. Any who... I haven't decided on a Dr. yet. I think my hang up is with the after care as well as being comfortable with a doctor that will be altering my appearance. If I have the MM in the DR my after care is at a minimum 2/3 weeks and if any thing happens after, I have to travel back to DR for a fix. If I'm stateside, my doctor is on hand and I'll have after care and follow up visit for a year after the procedure. I did some calculating and based on the cumulative cost of the procedure in the DR and here in the states were I live; it's a $3000 difference. Ugh; It's confusing. It's like making a choose to mess with that Dude you really want but you know ain't no good for you, lol....I just want to be completely sure and not have any doubts. I am going to send the link and list of Dr. in the post to follow this one. Its a long list. I hope it is helpful. BTW, I miss spoke/wrote regarding the Top Dr. His name is, Moises Salama and he is in Miami, FL.

UPDATED FROM SweetAsPie
Had my Consultation for Breast Implants with Dr Khan - Transform, Brentford UK
SweetAsPieOctober 4, 2015
So I met Dr Khan on Friday - he very kindly agreed to see me after surgery, as Transform have their own hospital, so everything is done under one roof. I was told to arrive for 3pm when he was scheduled to complete surgery. I arrived around 3:10pm (yikes, I was peeing my pants as I heard he doesn't wait around). So anyways, He was running a little behind on surgery (thank God), and he came down around 3.40pm.
So I went in with my patient Coordinator, Tamara (she's lovely) and Dr Khan got straight down to it - my name, age, occupation, smoker or not - he was very very professional, in my opinion, very fast and an absolute expert in what he was doing. He does not waste time, but I must admit, I liked him straight away. That's because I really like straight talking people, people who know their game and know it well -and this man clearly does. I even made a little joke about something and managed to get a laugh out of him, so no bad taste left in my mouth.
So he told me I would need a lift, which I thought and he asked what size I wanted. I said I wanted to be large C, small D. He said not D because to have a D and a lift at the same time is not advisable. He said he could put in 310cc max round over the muscle natrelle implant and that'd fill me out brilliantly. He showed me the implant and we stood in front of the mirror together and it looked great. I really liked it and I really liked him.
When I went back outside, I met another lady who was going to see him too. When she came out, she said how abrupt and rushed she thought him to be - I can say I shared her view, however I did understand her perspective. That's why it is so important for everyone to meet doctors themselves, because everyone has a different personality and a different expectation. Who I may perceive as an absolute treasure, another may perceive as a absolute [RS bleep]! lol..
Anyways, where I am at now is considering what to do as the surgery is £6,200 which is a lot. I want to do BBL also and am looking at Dr Ortega or Media and now I'm thinking I my as well get both surgeries done abroad as for that amount I can get both surgeries, plus my flight and hotel stay!!
I mean I dont want to skimp on quality at all, but flipping hell - SIX GRAND just for breasts! That's some other S(&*&t!!!!

Hi, I have not read
any comments from others, but I wanted to comment. From my own experience, breast implants do raise your confidence, but that is only because I felt I had to have perdect breasts to feel whole. This mindset changed and then I became aware of this foreign body within me. I wish I had left my breasts alone because even though they were small, they were healthy. Implants under the muscle has left me with breasts distortion due to the muscle being cut. After my explant this distortion still occurs. I am currently massaging my breasts hoping this will be less apparent, but I am afraid I am left with it. My photos show my resting look. I am also considering fat transfer, but if it means lumps, risk for cancer then I will not go down that road. From what you have written, you are doing your homework before moving forward. My opinion, listen to your husband and love your breasts the way he does. You are already perfect.
any comments from others, but I wanted to comment. From my own experience, breast implants do raise your confidence, but that is only because I felt I had to have perdect breasts to feel whole. Ahh Penelope2, thank you for your comment! And well done for your journey - I went and checked out your explant and I gotta tell you; your breasts were great with implants and they look gr8 without implants. To be honest, yours is definitely one of the best explants that I have seen.
For me, ahh lady, I am back on the implants again. No matter how much I try to convince myself and say that I will keep these natural breasts, i just want to be able to wear tank tops, bood tubes and bikinis WITHOUT freaking padding. My hubby is fantastic about my whole body, but actually it really is a personal thing - I just want to have some breasts to feel completely womanly. Its not even about big bouncy Pam Anderson boobds, it's just about some shapely boobs. I understand about the issues that come with them, and that is what torments me. I have been doing tons and tons of research and am not rushing into anything lightly BUT man oh man, i really do want some boob!!

I may be late but for my wife I have selected Dr Edward Bednar in Charlotte NC (check out user Coleen3000)

When you say about the silicone having changed to the thicker inside gel, are you saying you believe the quality is better? I have seen the mentol ones when I went for consult in the UK and they were really natural and the substance inside was really really thick and did not appear that it would/could leak out. The ones that Dr Adam will use are Eurosilone, manufactured in France.
So are you getting the fat transfer due to your reaction to the implant or would you honestly have kept your implants had you not develoed the condition? Also, was your condition due to the silicone? Or its stand alone condition?
Thanks chick x
I did read the info about the mammogram readings but most importantly, a plastic surgeon here in the UK also told me about it. He said that there is no way to stop the fatty tissue from building into lumps and that is what causes the untrue readings. If you read Coleen3000's review, her breasts looked amazing but she has now got the fatty build up with the lumps. She has not noted anything about mammo readings, however I am assuming that this is what instigates a 'fake' reading. I am not sure if the lumps build up in everyone who has the fat transfer over time, or just some.
The massage every single day sounds ideal. My beau will be in his element when he hears that one! lol.
