I am now 17 weeks post op and still so happy with my decision to have this surgery. As spring and summer role around and I am beginning to wear swimsuits I am so proud of my new belly. For so long I have been embarrassed of my extra skin and worked so hard to cover it up. I am thrilled to be able show it with pride. I am about 9 pounds heavier than I was when I had my surgery but I am attributing some of that to my workouts. When I look at my pictures I don't see that I look any bigger so maybe it's muscle. I still don't have feeling in many places on my front side and still no feeling on my sides where the lipo was done. I have gotten used to it though, which I didn't think I ever would. I ran my first 5K race since my surgery and it was wonderful to do it without having that mass of skin bouncing up and down. I actually came in 2nd place in my age group! This surgery has given me motivation to do so many things that I was emabarrassed to do before. So grateful to Dr. Rizzutti for doing such and amazing job!

So 2 years have gone by and a friend of mine has just had a TT. I have been sharing pictures and offering advice so I decided to update my profile. Since my surgery I have gained 25 pounds and am still proud of my TT. I was worries that if I gained weight it would look bad. The worst part of my TT was that I got out of the habit of working out and have never really gotten back into it. I think that is the cause if my gain. I still run during the summer and occasionally during the winter. My friend who just had a TT has motivated me to get my body back in shape. Here are some current pictures.
A huge congratulations on your weight loss! Do you have your surgery scheduled? And if so, when is it?
Please keep us posted on how you're feeling as the big day nears. I'll be following along!
