Smart Lipo-Cheeks.,Jowls, Neck, Chin - North Carolina

Pros: Totally worth it!!!

Cons: None so far!

I had smart lipo done yesterday!!!

From years of up and down weight it took a toll on my neck. No matter how much I gained or lost I always kept my double chins:-/ Can already tell a HUGE difference!!! The only hard part for me was the lidocaine mixed with the epinephrine. I have always had a problem with that mix. Example: when I have gone to the dentist and been numbed up in the past I will have a panic attack and tremors. So, to my horror I did that yesterday. But with the help of a couple Xanax’s and the wonderful nurses and my doctor I finally calmed down. The procedure was painless. I felt a little tugging but that’s all. I knew my skillful doctor was getting rid of all that fat. I had it done on my cheeks, jowls, neck and chin. When I got home (had a ride there and back) I was swollen which is normal. The compression garments made it hard for me to sleep last night. I didn’t get much rest so I’m feeling a bit punch drunk today haha! Lastly, I was very sore this morning. Don't feel so bad right now. But that’s normal. I’ve been taking plain Tylenol since I got home and that seems to work just fine. Will update soon!!!

Here are my pics before and two days after. Still swollen with bruising, but a huge difference. Very happy!!!

Bruising almost all gone. What is left is yellowish which means it's healing!!!:-)Still wearing compression garment. Feel great!!!

Still on the mend. Didn't sleep very well last night. I swelled up again and my jaws were pretty tender. Popped some Tylenol, feeling better!! New thing: I noticed right underneath my chin the skin looks a bit saggy...but this only being day four I hope it will tighten up and smooth out. I will continue to wear my chin strap longer meaning 24/7 (except for showering)the next two weeks and start massaging the area more in hopes that will help too.

What a journey this is!!! What keeps me upbeat is I know six months down the road the final result will be absolutely worth it. At least my double chins(plural)are gone!! One week ago today I had my smart lipo. The swelling and soreness comes and goes. It's usually worse in the middle of the night but then goes down. The saggy spot or rather strip of skin underneath my chin is more noticeable and hard now. I'm not happy about that BUT I pulled the big guns out this morning;-) Rather than doing my own massage(which is not working) I used my big monster HoMedics Percussion Massager with heat. It's supposed to be used for the body but on the lightest setting it works great on my neck. I did my whole neck and placed it directly on the strip of skin under my neck hoping to beat it out!!!:-) I figure I will sandblast it smooth!! Also, I'm going to wear the chin strap 12 hours during the day and my lighter compression garment at night for a month or more. May seem extreme but I want to mold this thing right:-))) I can't wear the chin strap at night because it hurts too bad and keeps me awake. Sooooo I'm doing things opposite;-) Will update you in a few days and let you know if it works. Fingers crossed....
