WORTH IT
It’s been a little over 6 months since my surgery and I’m still absolutely loving them! I’ve gotten so many compliments on how well they’ve dropped and how much more natural they’re looking. While I do love them a lot, I will say that there a couple changes that I knew would happen, but I didn’t really fully understand until after experiencing it for myself.
For one thing- bra shopping is a completely different game with bigger breasts and bras can be a bit of a struggle to finding the right ones ( I often heard this would happen, but turned the other cheek to these comments). Before I used to be looking for bras that would push-up my breasts. Now, I’m looking for bras that don’t make my boobs look overly big. I have to be really careful with padded bras since they can sometimes look ridiculous on me. I’ve found a lot of VS bras to do this and so I don’t shop there much anymore lol. The other thing is that I’m still trying to look for nipple covers that don’t show through clothing (or vice versa- thicker clothing to cover the nipple covers). I often go braless or turn to bralettes and light sports bras, which is still a bit mind-bending to me.
Another thing I’ve discovered with the new breasts is that side-sleeping is not the same as it used to be. Of course I was aware this would happen, but its a bit different from what I expected. When side-sleeping literally have to pick them up and position them in a way that makes me comfortable. Otherwise, it feels like it’s too much pressure on the chest and definitely can’t sleep that way. Not too bad of an adjustment, but just different from before.
Overall I’m still happy with them and don’t have any regret to getting them. The changes are pretty minimal and I just wanted to share my new discoveries for anyone thinking about getting a breast aug!
