I am having a vaginal tightening done on tues. A lot of mixed emotions at this time. Anxious, scared, nervous, excited and happy. My husband is worried and has mixed emotions about it too. We have never talked about this until recently. I was so embarrassed to even bring it up, and he is such a gentleman that he would never either. But after I went to a long awaited consult my mind was made up and I needed his support. We are newlyweds. I am 50 yrs old and have never had children. However, age and menopause has taken its toll DOWN THERE. I am just so thrilled that this surgery is an option.
So last night started out awkward with hubby and I. I measured him and wanted his full input. So after afew moments of uncontrollable laughter we agreed on the size we both wanted. I told him this was gonna be his own custom made vagina, and I would be LIKE A VIRGIN AGAIN. ok alittle exaggerated but true. He will be the FIRST & ONLY ONE to be down there with my brand new vagina. LOL So it lightened up the awkwardness about things.
So in the meantime, today is Sunday and I am gonna start preparing for the big day. I will be staying with my mom for the first 2 days after surgery. She lives alone and in case I need help with anything DOWN THERE she has already seen it 50 yrs ago when she changed my diapers! LOL.
I will keep you all informed about my recovery and updates because I know it will be helpful to someone maybe thinking about having the tightening surgery.

Hi Eva, Tomorrow is the big day! I am a wreck. After reading so many posts I have a long list of questions and must haves for my doctor! I am worried about not getting tight enough. I would hate to go through all this and be disappointed.

Sorry ladies I COULDN"T post any sooner, I just needed to relax and use the pain meds. The pain meds were difficult because you need to take COLACE- stool softener and I also took milk of magnesia. After 3 days I switched to Motrin 800, I now have a custom made vagina!

Hi Ladies,
I am sorry for not writing any sooner. I was extremely uncomfortable. I took the pain meds at first, but they make you constipated which was very painful. I then switched to motrin 800 along with valium. Much better.
I keep checking out my new va ja ja. WAS SCARED to look at first but I am so happy with the results. It is still uncomfortable but bearable. I find wearing skirts is best at this time.
I must say I already started to buy some new sexy wear for down the road. My follow up visit will be next week. Dr. Jason is a true gentleman and vagina artist. His before and after pics show that. He is also truly patient. I was very neurotic.

Hi Eva,
I am still so happy I had this surgery. My emotional state and self esteem is like
new person. Although I do not plan on having sex anytime soon my hubby is ok with that. We have found some other creative things to replace THAT. lol.
The stitches will start dissolving soon. So I am planning a special new years eve weekend with my honey.
