This is my weight loss journey and I would love to share and inspire others. DIET/Lifestyle change :) No bariatric surgery, no supplements, or medications. In March 2013, I gave birth to my beautiful twins. They literally changed my world for the better in all ways. I am who I am today because of them. Fast forward to Sept 2013, I turned 30 and realized at a regular health screening, I weighed in at 322lbs. This was 2lbs heavier than the day I gave birth. HOLY MOLY!! What a wake up call. My kiddos were 6 months old, starting to be mobile and I was worried how I would ever keep up with them. I joined a weight watchers at work program and continued this for 6 months until I continued on my own with just myfitnesspal.
July 2015, I hit my original goal weight of 190lbs. Went for a plastic surgery consult regarding panniculectomy (stomach skin removal) and my insurance denied this. This sent me into a "self-loathing" phase though I have continued to maintain for the past 6 months. My kiddos turn 3 soon and I feel as though I need to "finish" my journey. I have appts coming up soon with plastic/cosmetic surgeons to get a timeline and exact plan of what is needed. My estimate so far from their office is $19,000, though I believe it will be a tiny tiny bit less. Tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift, breast lift/augmentation, liposuction. I wanted to throw this out into the world and show others that IT CAN BE DONE! But I also am battling the selfishness factor of me paying so much on myself
