Fixing my crooked teeth!

I started the process in October 2015 and treatment on December the 5th and I'm currently on tray number 5 & already see a huge difference! Would definitely recommend to everyone that wants to fix their teeth! I definitely recommend it 1000%  smiling more and I can't wait to be done with my treatment! Definitely smiling a lot more and they are a lot whiter too! I don't see many people giving any tips on how to get a better customer service but I have posted some on here. Check out my profile. I know lots of people complain about customer service but I personally don't mind contacting them multiple times in one day haha. The best way of communication is chatting with someone on their website. I also found a link that gets you 50% off your impression kit!!! When I clicked it, it automatically added the 50% off and didn't need to put in a code or anything.

PRICE CHANGES for Smiledirect club

So apparently they're prices went up a bit. The impression kit is still $95 but the total cost went up. If you do a single payment, your total will be $1700 + $99 for your retainer set. But if you choose to do monthly payments, your total cost will be $1933 plus the $99 for your retainer set.
If you started treatment in 2016 you're locked it for the $1,735 total cost ( if you're doing payments) I think.

How to make a great first impression!

I had initially started the Smiledirect club process November/decemberish 2015. I got my impression kit read it and did the impressions like a couple minutes later (BIGGEST MISTAKE!) I was sooo excited that I thought it would be so easy. I was wrong. Those impressions got rejected so I had to order another kit and was waiting for them but then something came up and I just decided to not go ahead with it and I got refunded the $95 for the impression kit and the additional money I paid for the second impression kit. I started the process again around October 2016 and I wanted to get my impressions right on the first try and I did! So here are some tips that you can follow to get them right the first time!

It's extremely important for you to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! I read the booklet like three times. I practiced putting just the tray (no putty yet) in my mouth like 15+ times & made sure my teeth were positioned in the MIDDLE of the tray. If you align your teeth to touch the front of the tray, your teeth will scrape the front and your impressions will be REJECTED. That's why you want to aim for your teeth to be in the MIDDLE of the tray. I would grab the trays by the sides with both hands and push the tray up into my teeth and NOT biting down on the tray. I felt that this avoided movement once I did put the putty in the tray. Once you mix the putty, push the tray UP into your teeth and your head, down so you can apply the greatest amount of pressure *(this is for the top teeth. For the bottom just do the opposite; move head up while pushing down tray with fingers)* . I kept applying that same amount of pressure for the whole 3 minutes or so ( not sure how long it says. I don't have the booklet anymore ). My head hurt after because I think I pushed the tray up too hard lol but it was completely worth it! Also apply the same pressure ,with your thumbs, to the back molars of both the top and bottom of your teeth. I did keep the trays in a couple seconds longer than it said to, that it kind of hardened over my teeth but it got every last detail so if you chose to keep them in a bit longer or not is up to you.

**I promise you that practicing putting just the tray in your mouth will make it a thousand times easier**.
