I am also detaling my concerns with my procedure, sorry for no full face photos, I fear I am too recognizable and don't want that on the internet, haha.
I'm unhappy because I wanted symmetry, and I believe surgical intervention was not necessary for my prior scars...

Clarification
I just wanted to clarify, for some reason the review selected "Lip lift" over scar removal for my procedure. While I did have both, I don't believe my lip lift was done poorly technically, actually, if you aren't as picky as me, I'd not recommend against seeing Dr. Wendel, and again, he is VERY kind.
I just am quite devestated by my scar revision to my cheeks, and because of this, I cannot appreciate any positives of my liplift. I am currently just seeing awful scars on my face and no perceptible improvement to my facial harmony.
I do believe the lip lift will heal fine, but the cheek scar revisions were made much larger and more apparent, so I cannot recommend him for a detailed and precise facial closure.
Again, he was very cautious about preserving my nose when performing my lip lift, and for that, I am grateful. Had I just had the liplift and requested it be more dramatic and opted for a non invasive scar treatment, I'd be happy. But as a patient, I expect the surgeon to know what is best.... I wasn't really given other options or warned against it, and I feel my post op care instructions were too vague for this procedure. However, they continuously reached out to me and made sure I was okay.
Ultimately, this scar revision is not acceptable to me by any means, but the lip lift is technically sound, just not my desired result.
I hope this helps... I dont want to discredit an otherwise good surgeon, but my experience overall was traumatizing. Most of the staff were great, excluding the receptionists who were totally in their own world.
