About 6 months ago, I was diagnosed with Rosacea by a local Dermatologist. She prescribed Metrogel and antibiotics and instructed me to use 6 (six) additional creams and lotions on a daily basis. None of these products helped. In fact, the Rosacea got steadily worse. After about 3 months, I finally decided to seek a second opinion from Dr. Elson

Dr. Elson represents the rare mix of a world-renowned Dermatologist who is not only the absolute master of his craft but who is also a most caring, personable and approachable physician most patients can only hope for and few ever find. He is a soft-spoken, quiet professional who exudes lightheartedness, warmth and calmness; one who listened carefully to my concerns and explained the issues on hand in easy to understand language. After examining my face and asking pertinent questions, Dr. Elson advised me to stop all eight (8) products previously prescribed by the other dermatologist and to only use Cetaphil for cleansing and the 3 La Peau skin care products (Night, Day, Eyes). He also prescribed Azelex cream to apply as needed. Being of the mistaken belief that “more is better”, I was a bit skeptical at first but I followed Dr. Elson’s instructions. Lord and behold, within 2 weeks I could see an amazing improvement on my cheeks. The redness and inflammation had disappeared and the pustules and papules decreased in number, severity and size each day. Today my skin is normal, smooth, and healthy again. I owe Dr. Elson a huge debt of gratitude for not only healing the Rosacea-Acne but for restoring my self-esteem as well. Dr. Elson is not after money. His only concern is to help patients.
