I have attached some photos from having the Mixto...
I have attached some photos from having the Mixto Laser procedure done on June 12th. I wasn';t ready for the pain. Even though I had numbing crème on my face & taken valium, it was still very painful. Once the procedure was completed, It was like having a very bad sunburn for several days. I had my schedule set up in such a way that I was off for a complete week, which I needed because I was not ready to go out in public. In the beginning my skin was so tight I thought if I smiled it would crack. I had severe lines above my lip from using a straw all these years which I do not do anymore! For several years now I had thought about doing or needing a face lift & I opted for this. Up until a week ago I thought OMG what have I done, face very red, & laser lines every where, I saw my Dr on July 17th & expressed my frustration. She gets it & understands. I own a business & see the public on a daily basis & was very concerned about my appearance. I have worn more makeup then I ever have trying to cover up the red. I finally found a make up by IT which is for redness & rosacea so this is what I've been using & it works but not all day, by the end of the day I could see the red & lines coming through.
Anyway my Dr. put me on a regiment of Hydroquinone, Retina A, & Clobestral. After a week what an improvement! Now I will say the Retina A which is a liquid, my skin is not tolerating it but the other two no issues. I also found a better make up a lot less expensive by L'Oreal, it's a BB cream for redness & the color adjusts to your skin, it does the job! You can get it at Walmart for $7.96, Walgreens carries it also but double the price. I see a marked improvement in lines around the mouth, hardly no crepeiness in eyelids or below the eyes. Less wrinkles on forehead & around the corner of the eyes. So right now today as I see my face getting better, I'm happy & know that it will continue getting better. So all I can say is that it does take time. I think we're such a now society that we want everything immediate & I'm no exception, but I have realized that with time, the healing will continue.

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience and pictures. I'm due to have mixto on my neck on Friday, I'm 53 and inherited wonderful facial skin from my mom and it's just my neck that really bothers me every time I look in the mirror. I cannot stand my neck - the sagging. Would you say you had a marked improvement in your neck skin elasticity? How long did it take to really notice a difference post-Mixto? Thank you.
