Still doing great! On my last follow-up in October, I had Dr. Wendell take a picture of me smiling, as I didn't have one. I am adding before and after pics of me smiling. While I still don't have what I would consider "full" lips, there is definitely a difference! I did the medium size. Who knows, maybe I will do the large some day; but, I don't know. Dr. Wendell says my lips match my face! lol!

I have always had small, thin lips. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, they cut a nerve which made my already-thin-bottom lip even thinner. It also goes down on one side almost like a stroke victim. While this wasn't really noticeable to most people, I noticed it all the time and was embarrassed and very self-conscious about it. When I heard of the implants, I thought, "This is it!" And, I really do love them! Most people do not even realize I have had something done. My lips are still not "full," but there is definitely a difference. I went with the medium size implants. So, if you are wanting a substantial difference, I would go with the large. At this point, I am still considering having a large size put in my bottom lip, but not definitely sure. I am so glad I did it. The recovery time and pain was minimal. Just watch laughing too much....the stitches are the worst part, and I did tear one of mine from laughing too much the day after surgery. Dr. Wendel is absolutely awesome! I would highly recommend him to anyone!
