Labiaplasty with Clitoral Hood Reduction
UPDATED FROM LittleOne89
6 days post
First post op appointment
WORTH IT$5,000
Yaaaaay finally made it to one week. Day 4 and 5 were rather miserable as my pain medications stopped working. They did however keep me awake which added to the miserableness. Anyway day 6 was significantly better and the pain was much more manageable. I continued to ice off and on through the day as well as a few chores around the house.
So today was my post op appointment with the nurse and it was my first day driving. I had folded two towels and laid them in a V shape on my car seat which made sitting much more bearable. After I arrived the suture line and what was visible of the dissolvable (but not dissolved) stiches were pulled out. This was massively uncomfortable but she was rather quick about it. Other than that everything is apparently healing normally and is going great ????
I noticed some scabby bits are starting to come off now and the bleeding has near enough stopped. The only reason I'm wearing panty liners is to rub Vaseline on the pad itself, so my sensitive bits don't get stuck to my underwear. (I'll be glad when I can go back to my normal undies ????)

My main motivation for labiaplasty was the discomfort I was having. For years I had constantly had to "adjust" myself due to pinching and my labia simply coming out the side of my panties. Not to mention it just wasn't pretty and I had always been self conscious about it. I had never had an orgasm with a partner either due to decreased sensation because of the excess skin I also had over my clitoris. I had two options here. I could go to a gynocologiest or a plastic surgeon. After having done my research a plastic surgeon was more experienced and was going to do a better job over all aesthetically. If I was going to go through with this I wanted it to be done right. I also want to help anyone else out who is considering having this done ???? Feel free to ask questions!

Congratulations on finally getting your surgery!! You're the first I've seen with a clitoral area that looks similar to mine. Most people have such a flat profile of their's while ours seems to stick out more. My clitoral hood is really thick surrounding the clit Oris (which is average size itself and completely smothered by skin). My biggest fear if I were to go through with surgery is that my clitoral area would still be too bulky despite a reduction. I suspect this is a concern of yours as well? Regardless, I pray that you are happy with your results. I'm only 19 but I know how much of a burden this is to have. I can't even enjoy my own vagina. In fact, I refuse to have sex or let any man near me until I can have this surgery- which may not happen for a while.

So I had some good news during my consultation. Apparently some women's clitoris protrudes more than others which means not as much of a reduction can be done as far as the skin covering it is concerned. But mine sat further back (like it should). My first follow up was today and she reassured me that the most swelling occurs around the clitoral area and should go down significantly in a few weeks. But I definitely understand where you're coming from. Honestly I wish I would have done this sooner. Despite the pain I know it will be worth it in the end and I encourage you to look into it further. You deserve to be comfortable in your own body ☺
