I was most concerned with my upper eyelids sagging...
I was most concerned with my upper eyelids sagging and making me look older than I feel (I am 55) so decided on the upper eyelid blepharoplasty. My procedure caused very little discomfort to the lids. However, there is still a bit of numbness present near my eyelash line. I had a bit more bruising than some people but did go away within 2 weeks. Downtime is about 14 days, as you cannot wear makeup over the incisions. I am now at 9 weeks post op and scar in one lid barely detectable with no makeup, other scar still slightly pink, but improving steadily. My eyes look great, gives me a younger look and outlook!
