Coolsculpt Take One and Two - Nashville, TN

Although I am not overweight and exercise...

WORTH IT$2,100
Although I am not overweight and exercise regularly, no amount of exercise was getting rid of my love handles. I was sick of the overhang when I wore workout clothes or my favorite jeans. I did Coolsculpt on each side. The results were so great I went back and completed a second treatment on my tummy. Same thing as before... I exercise and do core work regularly but nothing was getting rid of a belly roll that had developed. I completed the this second area in April because it generally takes 1-3 months to see good results (keep that in mind when doing this procedure). I wanted to be the best I could be for swimsuit wear. In a couple of months with the combined treatments the results might have seemed minimal to an outsider but were phenomenal to me. Very noticeable results eliminating stubborn fat and allowing the muscle definition to be seen now. Know that the procedure is something you can do in an afternoon in the office. You must remain very still with suction devices attached to you. It is uncomfortable but not painful during the procedure. You can watch tv or work on your laptop or nap in the chair. The pain comes at the end when they detach the suction device and massage. It is brief but the pain is intense for 5-10 minutes. It made me nauseous but pain does that to me. They say it hurts more on smaller people. You will be able to drive yourself home and resume normal activities immediately. After effects may include bruising for a week or so and odd numbness in the treated areas for about a month. I had both of these. You need to be sure you go to someone who is throughly trained in this procedure as application is dependent on your results. My results were well worth it.

Who did you use in Nashville?

If I may ask, who did you use in the Nashville area, since that is where I live and it sounds like you had good results!

I used Dr. Biesman. I am still happy with my results. Both the tummy and the love handles were much improved and have been maintained. I would be careful on any procedure anywhere to go to an unknown facility. After a few comical results with Botox and laser hair removal at dermatology situations and so called spas using groupons or specials I learned that the people performing these procedures aren't always well trained and employee turnover is evident at them. It's best to find someone you trust who is proven and a specialized MD in house with a staff that is experienced and has been there for a few years.

Btw, I'm not sure if my review stated it but I did love handles first and was so happy with the results I went back for the tummy roll after. My husband did love handles with great results as we'll,

Good to know

I went to another Dr. in Nashvile for a Coolsculpt consult. They charge per "cycle". She said that the complete tummy area would be 4 cycles, hips/outer thigh would be 2 cycles per side, etc…. Do you remember how many cycles you had for tummy and also love handles?

My tummy was one visit, one treatment. Love handles were one visit but they did one side and then the other. I recall them discounting the love handles because technically it was considered two areas (one side and then the other) and when I came back for the tummy (which was months! later) it was discounted as we had discussed doing the area on the first visit. Some people will need more than one treatment in an area but you should wait a few months after your treatment as the results happen over time. I got such great results from single treatments on the areas that I did not need to go back for additional treatments (I suppose this is what your doctor called "cycles"). They have made improvements in the suction devices as well so they are able to actually do some interesting "sculpting" in the tummy areas that elude to the look of muscle definition. I really just had a little pooch in the tummy area that needed shrinking so I wasn't really interested in a lot of special sculpting. Be aware that your results will be only as good as the person performing the procedure so go in asking for actual photos of results and preferably a recommendation from someone you know who has done it if you can. May I ask who your consult was with? I used Nashville Centre for Facial and Laser which is Dr. Brian Biesman. My husband also had his love handles done. His results were great but he is considering doing another round now over a year later as he had a little more to lose.
