WORTH IT$3,800
Can't say these are pretty, but at least they're no longer rock hard and painful. And I can hug people without being self conscious about bumping into them with the rocks. I'm single, no one has to look at this but me. They match the rest of my 60 year old body, droopy and saggy. I am still very happy I explanted.

After mustering some courage.....I uploaded 3 pictures pre-op, post-deflation, and one week post explant. I hope these don't scare anyone from getting explanted. The doctor said they'll 'fluff' over time. They feel much better than they look right now, and I am very, very happy to be natural again.

Wow! Look at the change in just one week! Looks great! And way better than the fakes I think :)

Congrats on being all natural! Can you post recent pixs to see how they are looking now that they have had a chance to fluff?

I am 5 days post ex plant and I feel better too! I started a detox program with Dr. Brent Davis in Nashville and beginning that has really helped me shift from feeling obsessed with what they're going to look like to really focusing on my overall health and getting the damage out of my lymph glands etc. They will change and fluff and be pretty with time and in the meantime it's so good to be on the road to recovery and truly loving our bodies that are a gift from God! Be swet to yourself and dwell in the joy that the hardest part is over :). :)

My motivation for explant involved progressive...

My motivation for explant involved progressive hardening of my implants over time, and a sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer. 3 doctors told me implants don't affect early detection, but I felt safer removing them. I selected a female MD in Nashville. I would highly recommend her.
I opted first for deflation in her office to see what I would be left with and to decide about removal and/or reimplant. I felt immediately better after deflation to have the rocks off my chest. Then after 2 weeks decided on explant, no reimplant. Procedure was $3700 for surgeon, outpatient surgery center and anesthesia. I didn't take my own pics but will get them from the doctor and post them. I am about 8 hrs postop, in an ace wrap until tomorrow, no drains, stiches out next week. I didn't take selfies but will post my MD's before/after photos after all is healed.

Glad you're doing well! Congrats on your decision. Did you have the capsules removed? How are you feeling?

Feeling great. Just a little sore. Removed ace wrap yesterday and wearing a cute little A cup sports bra. No drains. I'm not droopy or concave. So happy with appearance so far. Yes she removed capsules.

it gets better, like I said in my first blog my right breast is partially missing. it's pulled in at the bottom but has got somewhat softer. So glad you didn't have that issue. Hope your healing goes well, I'm almost 6 months post removal, some of my health issues have got so much better!

I removed my implants after 22yrs, they were misty gold. I had years of health problems. I thought I got silicone, but have found out they were an implant filled with polyvinylpyrrolidone. through my research they were forced off market less than a year after mine were put in, no body called me to let me know that's what I had! Nov. of this year I had them removed by Dr. Taylor I was very disappointed half of my right breast was gone when I asked what happened she couldn't give me a solid answer, she just kept saying I didn't take your fat tissue. it had to go somewhere, she said maybe the other doc, did. Well I have those records and it doesn't say anything about it. If it was gone during the time I had my implants wouldn't had been noticeable. appreciate any feedback!
