Have you had anything like hands feeling slow to move, numbness or tingling in fingers or always staying cold? I wanted this procedure years ago but when I went for treating my legs the doctor in Baltimore said that would/could be the side effect if I did hands. Thanks for your post an answer.
Nope no issues at all. I had abalation done to my legs and did have numbness. But no issues at all with my hands. I'm 100% pleased with my results. If any more veins show up on my hands, wrists or arms I'll definatly be getting the same procedure done.

Omg!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the same issue!!! I know how it can work on your self esteem. I feel like I look like a 90 year old by the hands and wrists. I am looking for someone in my state which is Michigan but no luck yet. I have a few questions. Since you traveled from your home state how long did you have to stay in Florida for your treatments? I am wondering about the amount of time I will have to take from work ect. How many treatments did you have to get and how long did you have to stay there? What about follow up appts ect. Was it required. Asking al these questions because I work full time and want an idea of how much time I would need to take off ect because of travel yo another state and amount of treatments and follow ups involved. I look forward to hearing from you. I feel the same way you did. It makes me very self concious. I dont like anyone looking at my hands :-(
Im sorry I took so long to reply. I stayed 3 days. First night before the surgery. Second day surgery. Third day followup and headed home. I have never had tonhave anything else done. No appointments nothing. My hands look exactly the same after all these Yeats. No veins at all. SonId plan on 4 days off. You can go straight back to work after a few days..just wear compression gloves.
I wore the compression gloves for about a week.
Sorry I forgot I did drive back about 6 weeks later and got some of ouch up scelothropy and he drained the clots . Been awhile so I spaced and forgot.

Im 36 years old. After the birth of my fifth child...

Im 36 years old. After the birth of my fifth child I developed very noticeable hand and wrist veins. So bad that I wore long sleeve even in the summer even in the Georgia heat.. No doctors in my home state would treat wrist veins. So I came to Realself to look for a doctor who would. I found Dr.John Landi at Vanish Vein and Laser Center in Naples, Fla. I was treated with ablation of the large veins and Sclerotherpy of the small ones. The price includes three visits. I will be doing my last one in the morning. There is at least a 80% improvement so far and I couldn't be happier. There was hardly any pain involved and I was fine right after the procedure. I went out to lunch and walked the beach a hour after! After being told my hands couldn't be fixed to seeing such dramatic results it was worth every penny. I will add more pictures after my final appointment.

It was $2000 exactly. And that was for laser of the big veins and sclerotherapy of the smaller ones. It was for the initial visit and two folllow ups for more sclerotherapy.
