How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I thought it would be best that I start off my reviews from the very first steps to full recovery. First, I'm 23 years old and I have no children nor do I plan on having children. I currently am an A cup, with a sternum tattoo - I don't know why but I feel it's important to mention the tattoo. Also, my husband and I are going on a cruise exactly 8 weeks and 2 days after surgery. Which my surgeon said will be plenty of time for post-op.

When I went in to my consultation I asked three pages of questions. Why you may ask - because why not? I'm interviewing my surgeon and my surgeon is interviewing me to decide the best route to the results I want. Plus, my surgeon is an Artist and needs to exam the canvas.

Here are a few of my questions asked and answered:
1. How many years of plastic surgery training/experience have you had? 20-30 years
2. Are you certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery? Yes
3. Where will my surgery be performed? Naples Day Surgery Center.
6. If the surgical facility accredited? Yes
7. What type of anesthesia? IV
8. Who will perform the IV? Anesthesiologist
9. Am I a good candidate for breast implants? Yes
10. Will my sternum tattoo be affected? No
11. How many breast augmentations do you perform in a year? 100's
12. What is surgery like? How long will it take? A total of two hours (I believe is what the doctor told me)
13. How long is recovery what type of help will I need? After the first 3 days you should be relatively independent. Recovery will last approx 6 weeks.
14. Who handles follow-up? Dr. Prysi - I will see him at every post-op appointment, not only nurses. (I found this to be an important question to me. Only because I have seen reviews where patients never see their actual surgeon after the procedure, and only are in contact with the nurses.)
15. How do implants feel? Will they cause strain on my back? Since I will have the implants under the muscle they should feel similar to real breast tissue, there won't be much heaviness on the back.
16. Common complications? Infection and scaring around the implant.
17. How often have you seen these complications in your practice? These complications haven't occurred in the practice.
18. IF they occurred how would they be handled? We will fix any mistake we have made free of charge - excluding the facility fee/anesthesia.
20. What size/Shape/Texture do you recommend for me? 350cc-400cc, round moderate profile, under the muscle, breast fold or arm pit incision.
21. Are there any restrictions on my mobility I will have after receiving implants? No chest workouts
22. Will you be performing my surgery? Yes
23. What is the total cost/break down? $4000 for Doctor's Fee, $850 operating room, $640 for anesthesia, $1500 for implants
24. When is the total payment due? I can pay however I would like as long as everything has been paid 14 days prior to surgery.

A few days later I decided to go with Dr. Prysi and set my surgery date for 06/22/18.

P.S RaeLynn, patient concierge is fabulous!
