So it's been a really long time since I posted but thought I should share what the final results were after my breast augmentation. I'm very happy with my results, they aren't symmetrical but as the doctor advised "they're sisters, not twins" so that's fine with me. I do wish they were a bit closer together and therefore had a bit less side boob but that's literally my only big complaint. If you've read more than a few reviews you've probably heard that they feel weird and move around when flexing (if they are under the muscle) which they do and yes it feels odd. Saline implants are a bit hard but not terribly, though I'm sure if I was to date a new partner it would be easily noticed by the feel of my breasts that they aren't natural. Ive had zero healing issues and no bottoming out thus far and everything start to finish was a lot easier than I had expected. Hope the info helps someone make the best desicion for them and if your west coast BC resident I would highly recommend Dr. Robinson! He was fantastic start to finish.

Yay! 6 wks post op and feeling really good. Absolutely no pain, back to all of my regular activities including yoga. They are dropping nicely, right is still a bit higher then my left and are a lot softer. Have a bit more natural movement as well. All in all very happy with my BA. The healing process so far has been waaaay better then I was expecting. :)

How do you feel about your decision to get saline vs silicone ? Any concerns? I heard that they stay pretty hard

I chose saline mainly for the safety factor. I have enough breast tissue to cover them fairly well so rippling wasn't a huge concern of mine either. The incision is smaller with saline. They're already softer then I expected and a few of my friends have had saline implants for 4+ yrs and they are very soft. I've heard that with silicone you require an MRI every few years to check for ruptures and that infrared heat(like in saunas and some hot yoga studios) can cause a problem (not 100% sure about that). and then theres cost, salines are cheaper. Completely a personal decision, I think both saline and silicone are good, just a matter of preference and life style.

Yes I was concerned with the incision size as well. My dr also told me I have a significant amount of tissue and should not exclude saline from my decision. I was more concerned with the feel and have been getting some great feedback..thank you for the response!! You look great!! My surgery is scheduled feb 10th!! wish me luck!

4 weeks post op

Officially 4 weeks post op. They are dropping nicely, right is still a bit higher. They feel softer and have more movement. Still find they swell up if I do too much during the day. Gained way too much weight "taking it easy" during the holiday season. Thankfully the 6 week mark isn't too far away now and I'll be able to get back to the gym and hopefully running again soon. Happy new year everyone :)
