A Successful Procedure After All! :)

Hi,
I'm MzAdrienna and I'm here to contribute to the wealth of knowledge, experience and personal insight here on Realself. I just had Neck, Chin, and Jowl (Submental) SmartLipo done on Jan 10th, 13 and I will tell you the results are slow to come for me..The only painful part was the injections of the numbing fluids-this was offset by the Xantax which acted like Valium. The procedure is painless and there was only soreness after wards in the area. I probably couldv'e done without the Vicodans altogether. Anyways some say they see results right away, I'm guessing that's for those with the gobble gobble under the neck. In my case there was alot of excess fat caked up under my neck and chin. This really made my side profile unappealing. I've lost weight a number of times and it's doesn't budge-it's genetic. I usually just wear my hair down to cover it. But I got tired of that...so I took the plunge. Now I'm like in waiting. They say 2 weeks for the swelling to go down. This is my 6th day and I thought I'd atleast get an inkling of difference but there's none because all the places where fat used to be are now so swollen it all looks the same. So the jury is still out on my final opinion. But for anyone wondering.....painless, quick, and for me-no bruising-just swelling.
Guys...Arnica Montana gels and pills are awesome!...

Hi Everyone! It's day 11 I'm posting some pics...
It's day 11 I'm posting some pics from day 9 and a video from today (11). Results and healing stages are happening much faster now. I have the hard lumps under my chin and beginning along my jawline that I'm massaging and applying moist heated compresses to, but I've read if they are too stubborn I may have to get a steroid shot at the doctors office to encourage the scar tissue to subside. Write me and let me know what you think, and how you're doing. The massages kinda hurt but since I'm doing them myself I can adjust the pressure.
