Not all doctors adhere to those practices primarily due to the fact there’s no scientific evidence to prove either works. Anecdotally some PS believe these practices may prevent cc with their patients, so they prescribe them. I guess they figure better safe than sorry. There are other PS that are a little more cynical about these practices; one PS I know believes doctors tell their patients to do these things as a way of putting the responsibility (and blame) on the patient if something goes wrong. My own PS does not believe in either practice but allows his patients to massage (after one month postop) if they want to. So answer your question I would have to say no not everybody does this. :-)

Good!!! Just been trying at work. All these restrictions... :( they feel a bit tight still in the front towards the top. Getting softer every day! Thank you for checking up!

You look great! Seems like you are doing better today. In case you missed I also left you a message in your prior update letting you know I also have implants over the muscle. It’s amazing what a difference a few days can make especially with “overs”. The healing process is usually much quicker with “overs” compared to “unders”. Glad you’re loving your new look. I hope things continue to go well… :-)
