A Nightmare - Murrieta, CA

When I first met with Dr. Newman he seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. I went to him for a tummy tuck revision after having a child and gaining 70lbs during pregnancy. At this time I still had a good 30 pounds to lose but Dr Newman assured me that the results would be fantastic and I would not need to lose weight. I moved forward with scheduling my surgery date quite quickly because my Best friend had been researching on plastic surgeons for over year and had chosen him. The day I went to my consultation I had asked for before and after pictures of tummy tuck revisions their system was down according to his staff but they would be emailing me over some pictures before I was to have the surgery. My friend had told me she looked at pictures and all of his work to look fantastic so I move forward without hesitating which later I would later come to regret. I was so busy preparing myself for surgery and taking time off I completely forgot about the pictures. The day I came back from surgery I noticed I had a vertical scar which had not been mentioned to me during the consultation seems that I did not have sufficient skin to pull down far enough so he had to close up my previous belly button leaving this awful scar. Now I have not only the horizontal hip to hip's car which is awful parts of it at are almost an inch thick. Every time I went to see Dr Newman he kept telling me to wait I still have swelling in my results would soon show well I waited over a year and realize that after that I could not take any legal action. The last time I saw him he said he would perform liposuction to try and slim my abdomen and to fix the previous liposuction he did to my back bra area which is another nightmare within itself. One side is much larger than the other. I had such horrible results the first time I would be an idiot to go back for a 2nd surgery. When I told him I wasn't comfortable letting him do anymore surgery until I saw his pictures of his previous tummy tuck and liposuction revisions all of sudden now he isn't allowed to show those to me because of client confidentially ?! How can a plastic surgeon not have before and after's to show? And what about the ones I was going to see the day the system was down? I am not one to give bad reviews but I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. Recently I was told by my friend that didn't end up having her tummy tuck with him because of my results that someone else showed her his horrible results recently and I had to bring myself to write this very personal and horrific experience.
