Much better day today. I showered and felt much better. The itching has set in from the pain meds and nerves healing. The lipo areas feel much better today. I can stand a little straighter. Sad to miss Mother's Day with all the family, but they came to visit and my sister made me crab Benedict. Yum! Definitely days 2 and 3 are the worst. Hopefully each day I will feel and look better.
Pre-op visit today thinking of cancelling
I have my pre-op today for my surgery on May 4. My son will be getting married 6 weeks after my TT and lipo. After reading so many reviews on here, I am so nervous that I won't be healed enough to enjoy the event. Can I please get some advice from others who are in recovery. Hi. I am 51 years old. 5 foot 4 and 190 pounds. I am having a tummy tuck with lipo of the flanks and hips on May 4. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I have always struggled with my weight. I kept 10 pounds on after each of my pregnancies and have struggled to lose. I have recently lost 12 pounds. Scheduling this surgery has been a great motivator for me to lose more weight and exercise. I have enjoyed reading the stories from others. They have helped me a lot. I am stocking up on the things I have read that I will need after my surgery. I still worry every day if I am doing the right thing. I have a daughter with special needs who requires help with every day activities. I have family support but worry about being able to help her after a week or so.
