Bra

FLATtering
WORTH IT$500
In previous posts I mentioned how hard it was to find a bra that fit and looked cute. Well.... I found one!
I sat in Victorias secret for a couple hours and tried on around 50 bras. But I found one that goes wide enough on the sides!
It's Body by Victoria wireless.

Thank you so much for this. I have my first appointment May 8th. I'm still not sure what I am going to do. I've had my implants for 14 years now. I want to remove them but I'm scared.
May 6, 2014
I had gone larger the year before I explanted . Before I went in I kept thinking of getting them removed but when I went in I let my fear take over my decision. One year and Thousands of dollars later I had them removed and I feel so free. Just follow your heart and you will be just fine. :)

Love the bra!! You look great!! I got deflated yesterday. Trying to wear sports bras to help with skin shrinkage, but can't wait to bra shop!
May 7, 2014
Does it worry you that you didn't have the capsule removed? Also, did you use the same doctor who did your implants for your explant?
May 7, 2014
It doesn't worry me at all. I used my original doctor. Last year I went a size bigger and I used a different doctor for that. But I had 2 implant surgeries (first augmentation, and upgrade to gummy bears) and the explant with my Original doc.

I LOVE your nickname "FLATtering"!' How funny and what a great attitude! I think you look fantastic! I had my implants and capsules removed on April 11 and it feels so good to have soft boobies again! You're a lot younger than I, but our husbands sound a lot alike! I laughed so hard when I heard that he put your implants under his shirt and ran around with them! How funny! I keep looking in the mirror at my sad little deflated boobies, but hopefully they will fluff up in the months ahead. This would sound very weird to anyone who hasn't had their implants removed, but once a while I just have to give my boobs a soft squeeze, because I can't believe how soft they are now! It's taking some getting used to how flat I am now, but I don't regret getting those toxic rocks out of me at all! My implants were so hard, they hurt almost all of the time and I hated them so much. Now I can give soft hugs to everyone and not feel self-conscious anymore. Anyway, I just wanted to check in and tell you that I love your sense of humor and positive attitude! You're really looking great! [RS bleep]

Oops, looks like I left out a few words, but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm saying. I was dictating from my iPhone. I love that feature, but I have to make sure I speak a little slower!
April 27, 2014
Thank you! Attitude is everything and I was exactly the same way.. I hated mine lumpy hugs, heaviness, and achy. I'm so glad to hear that you are happy with your outcome and decision! My husband always knows how to cheer me up when I'm down, that's when I was Insecure about the baggy skin. Soft hugs and happy healing. :)

I laughed about your husband wearing them too! I'm thinking maybe I can make mine into something useful, like a large paper weight... ;)

You really are looking great!! Are the bandages scar strips??
May 6, 2014
Thank you. They are scar away bandage straps. They have flattened my scars really well and reduced the redness too.

Looking really good, FLATtering and I'm so glad you're happy and feeling better! No more body and head aches AND you found a comfy, pretty bra! Woo hoo! I've been thinking of using scar strips for the incisions under my breasts, but not sure how to use them. Well, I guess I need to go to the drugstore and check them out!! LOL! Duh! My PS did tell me it was okay to use them and that they work well. He told me that Mederma scar gel doesn't do anything, so not to waste my money. I had already bought it and I've been using it. Not sure it's doing anything because its too soon to tell, at 3 wks, but nothing has changed by using it at all. Who knows? I think I'll try the scar strips because my incisions are a little "ropey" right now. Kind of like round shoelaces in some spots. Some days the incisions are red and some days they aren't. They don't look infected and they don't hurt. They are closed up and I can take baths. I can't use a public pool or go into a jacuzzi until it's been 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, my PS said I can return to ALL of my normal activities! Yay! I'm a little more than half-way there!

That's awesome you are so close! I used Moderna on the mole that I had removed and it hasn't done anything. It is bright red and bulging. I'm going to start the scar away on it now. Mine were like laces too much less now.

Better by the day

FLATtering
I am happy with my results at 3 weeks post. I have been blessed. I am seeing improvements daily and I'm not scared anymore.
I woke up at 4am last night and just sat there and felt the lightness of my chest =)
My backaches and headaches have gone away completely. My skin is more vibrant and I have less breakouts. I have more energy and I smile alot more.
When I scheduled the explant I wanted to be natural again but I was doubting my bodies ability to shrink back. I'm so glad I didn't listen to that fear... our bodies are truly a magnificent thing!

Women... don't doubt yourselves we are amazing!

That phase is tough. Hang I there and you will be confident in no time! It is hard to go from big to small that fast it's almost as if we go in shock. Thank you for your support and kind words :)
