Thanks for sharing your stories - I am encouraged by your lift pics. I am now just 8 days post-op and had my stitches out yesterday!!! I have felt everything you have with having a lift but mine were a lot more bruised but in the end I think it will be well worth the lift. Dr. said this will heal. Looking forward to healing and enjoying my new itty bitty [RS bleep]'s too :-) Good luck!

Wow! You look perfect! I wish I had that much tissue. You look so much better natural. I am amazed at how great they look. Definitely not small at all :-) Perky as heck too! Congrats!

You look great. What size are you now? They don't look itty bitty. Probably just itty bitty compared to before. I love your great attitude.

Bras

Emersonbigguns
I am now 4-1/2 weeks post op! I feel almost normal still sore and with the heat here and sweating I have a little heat rash. It cleared up pretty quick though. I was careful to change into fresh clothes often. Which brings up my point. I have seen some expensive bras out there but I don't think they could be any better than the one I found! At Walmart in sports bra section! So I went and bought 4 more, couple different styles. See pic below! Now I am so excited to go to Victoria's soon and be measured and get a couple pretty little sexy bras, but for now these are great, so cheap but I think well made! Very soft, wash and dry well ( you have to straighten out pads if they get wadded in wash.) but mostly very supportive and flattering!

You look like you've come through with a bang. You are so blessed. I am 73 and had mine removed but was left very disfigured. I have had a fat transfer but still need another and another. Very expensive but I don't think I can do it again and again. Thanks for sharing and God Bless..

You still got a great size going, and looking sleek in that purple shirt. I'm so happy that you feel so free. You came through this breast trauma spectacularly. It's awesome.

You look great ! I wanted to ask you how the scars are healing ? I know it takes time, I will have to be patient with this, but I can't wait to put on a top that doesn't make me feel enormous and matronly. Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm feeling like Bruce Jenner, I mean Caitlyn this morning!

Emersonbigguns
With my implants out, and finally feeling like myself I am relating to Caitlyn this morning! I am 11 days post op and so happy to be free of those big, heavy, water balloons I was carrying around...yes...living a lie. I have had 4 children, I am going to be 60 years old next week, {eeeeeeekkkkkkk can't believe I am saying that!!!} and I feel so good and free! I am glad that I got a lift although I feel a little guilty with a nip and tuck not being natural. But I felt it necessary. I am thankful for all you girls and your stories. They have inspired us all and I hope that mine helped someone else in their journey! I will post new pics when there is a change since last pics.

wow! wow!!!! your results look beautiful!!! I might have to get a lift but my doctor said he wont do it until a year after surgery :/ maybe i wont' need one! but anyway...your photos help me feel so much better!!! thanks so much for sharing!!! and LOL about Caitlyn..you know, i did read a quote she said about "living a lie" and having implants kind of feel that way to me, so i'm looking forward to no longer "living a lie" as well :)

My implants had hung on me and pulled on the breast tissue for so long that it really was necessary to lift. Hopefully you won't need it, wouldn't that be fantastic! But now I am having a hard time convincing my daughters that its ok not to be perfect, they have young Mommy boobs, which are not magazine quality but natural, they think they look awful, wish I could convince them to leave them alone!

Oh my heavens! I hope you can!! I teach high school seniors and the body issues they have are awful. They look so beautiful to me. Young and lovely. I would give anything to go back in time and not get implants. That's number two on my list. Number one is to wear sunscreen.

Thanks and yes I agree!

It's a beautiful feeling, Emersonnotsobigguns! The nipping and tucking your surgeon did looks really good.

Thanks Chickenhawk! I think so too! I am still healing but doing well...tire easily...too sore to stretch and boy does my back need it...I am doing some simple pilates to try to build up my core a little without working my chest and arms just yet...yes, I haven't seen my before pics in a week now and when I opened my email and my before review was there it was such a slap in the face! Wow, I can't believe the difference! I already feel so much more like me...nice little me...people that I have told just don't get it at all, puzzling to me. But thanks for the compliment!

Hi Emerson, I too am still sore (I'm 4 weeks post op as of yesterday) and find it difficult to stretch. My chiropractor worked on me 2 days ago and it helped. She even massaged my upper ribs, above my breasts. That helped to loosen the smaller pectorals by the armpits. It's been tough to lift my arms due to pain beside my armpits. Now I must try some chest strengthening exercise. My pectorals atrophied a bit after my 27 years of implantation:( It sounds like you aren't doing any chest exercises yet. Did your doctor say when you could start? I'm so happy for you...you look wonderful!!! Take care, Dove.
July 8, 2015
My doctor said I can do exercise now, didn't know about working chest muscles, I will start to do that. I thought it would hurt before but I'm good now! Glad you are much better, thanks for suggestions!

I've had that same feeling about the lift being more 'fakeness'. But I would be so unhappy with droopy saggy boobs. The nurse at my consultation showed me her small perky boobs and it was beautiful. I wish I could do without the lift but I want to feel better about my body. .
June 17, 2015
I don't know about you but the implants had pulled on my breast tissue to the point of permanent damage to the nipple was possible! A lift just gets it all back up there in place. It has been a slow recovery but I am well on my way now at a little over 3 weeks! Thanks for the support!

Happy a little late Birthday to you! A great way to enter the next decade☺️ Thank you for all your sharing and inspiration MS. E. You look fabulous and I look forward to seeing the next pic. I booked the explant and lift for Sept 30! Wish I could do it sooner but too much gardening, work, summer...life. The good thing is the weekend before my surgery I will spend three days at an all women's meditation retreat. Continue recovering you Beauty! Wondering what if anything you are doing or will do for scars?
