I'm from the UK and went to Mumbai for cosmetic...
WORTH IT
I'm from the UK and went to Mumbai for cosmetic surgery but looking around I found that laser eye surgery there was well within my budget, had a consultation and the doctors just impressed me that much I went for it, it was the type where they don't cut a flap, that was the bit that scared me most and these guys said that the laser would be less than a minute on each eye, would be able to feel it
starting out I was -5 on each eye, couldn't see without my glasses
ok THE LASER VISION CENTRE, Mumbai
glasses on I had a look round the place, very clean and had all the gizmos, didn't know what they did... but looked cool, anyway, they told me the price $400 for both eyes, couldn't believe it, said ok lets do it, took me in the other room and did it there and then, no waiting at all, walked in the place, 20 minutes later I walked out and could see without my glasses, it wasn't great to start with but you get a clear contact lens on each eye that stays in for a week, dark sunglasses, all the meds and eye drops in with the price, its amazing
eyes were sore for a couple of days, the pain killers and drops they give you help but it was only about 2-3days, feels like you got sand in your eyes
after the week you go back, takes off the contacts and that's it, use the drops for a few weeks after and at 2 months later I still have great sight
totally happy with the place, result and the price :)
I got someone I met there to film it all for me, thought people would like to see how its done, only posted the video of one eye being done but I'm sure you can guess what the other eye looks like

I get that the procedure in Mumbai is way more affordable but doesn't the expensive plane tickets undo the savings you get from the procedure?

Trip back to Mumbia
very pleased that people are making the leap and following in my footsteps by going to Mumbai, going to have amazing results yet save a fortune in the process, as promised to these people I am going to go with them and hold their hand through it, I'm really looking forward to it, excited for them and to be there with them, I just know I'm making some new friends for life, my trip is from the middle of January to middle of March, people are there for 2, 3 and 4 weeks for face work, breasts, nose jobs, laser eye surgery and teeth among other things, if anyone wants to come with then don't be shy get in touch [RS bleep]
