After contemplating for years, I finally decided to go for gynecomastia surgery. Like all men suffering from this, I too have had my share of embarrassment and awkward moments from those undesired protrusions on chest!!
I had researched quite a few in India and from my interactions with the Doctor and Support Staff, I felt most at ease and confident with Dr. Milan Doshi at Allure Med Spa, Mumbai. My research and dilemma spread over 3years but finally I got what I wanted. At Allure, they have wonderful facilities and from the moment I walked in, I was fully taken care of. On first day itself, Dr Milan Doshi inspected me and decided to operate upon within a few hours time after the regular blood tests/x-rays. I was shifted to the hospital from the consultation clinic and provided a comfortable air-conditioned room. The nurses at the hospital were extremely helpful and warm. The IV was inserted and I was told that would be my most painful experience before and after and i can certainly vouch for this now. Within hours I was shifted to OT and under the influence of anaesthesia and fatigue from my morning flight, I completely passed out. I remember trying to keep with it but simply couldn't. Next when I open my eyes, I saw the chest bandaged. My friendly assistants there told me that its all done and I can now enjoy a sculpted chest for rest of my life! I checked the time and it was some 3hours after i went into OT. I didn't feel much pain though I was still very drowsy from the dosages. I took pictures of the glandular tissues and fat extracted for my memoirs! I was allowed to stay in the hospital for two nights during which i received my medication and extremely good care. Dr. Doshi checked me at regular intervals and kept me in good spirits. Dr. Aparna also gave me the confidence that I would be fine taking my flight away from Mumbai in a day or two. I stayed in Mumbai few more days for caution and went back to Hospital after three days for check up with Dr Doshi to ensure I'm recovering well. Dr. Aparna has been helping me promptly with all my post surgery queries and giving me ready instructions on medication and pressure garment etc. All in all, a very comfortable experience that has given the desired results and just the kind of confidence i was lacking all those years!! Highly recommended to anyone still contemplating!!
