A very few might be aware of the term...

A very few might be aware of the term 'gynecomastia', but it is a nightmare for the ones suffering from it! its drains your confidence, boost your self-consciousness thus making your life a bit worse for the one who aint over-confident! hope this review helps my fellow mates suffering from it!

aged 25, a height of 5'6" , weighing 65kgs ( currently) and being a media student i needed to be mobile and flexible in my field, which i could not be because of 'this' hormonal disorder i went through during my puberty! so today, 7 days post my surgery, i am writing this review to be a medium of support for the ones suffering and planning to get this surgery done! it was a bummer in every aspect of daily life counters! i was always a healthy guy since high school, but during late teens i shredded much needed weight (90kgs to 65kgs) and that point of time i introduced myself the the term 'gynecomastia' and that i was suffering from it!
so thats is that and this year in the first month of 2015, i finally decided myself to have this surgery done cause this disorder had been affecting a lot in every stream of my life, be public or personal, or work related or recreational! dint need much effort to convince my family cause they were this understanding type of people, glad! and so after a few counselling with various doctors here in bombay, india which i am a resident of , i finally decide to choose Dr. Milind Doshi, of allure medspa ! he seemed very confident about his work in my first meeting and thats what i needed! he was surely a confidence booster! so finally dates have been fixed, pre- surgery preps been made and i am was ready for it! the last time i would be wearing a loose t-shirt for a 'specific' reason!
The day of the surgery: nervously happy i was, 7:30 in the morning i reached the hospital with my family! staff seemed polite and friendly, which mattered a lot, since the first surgery of my life! a couple of mins passed, i was provided to wear the typical surgery outfit and the first and the only injection was injected , the one in the wrist nerve for the saline and other medications! so there i lay on the bed, with a surgical mask worn for some cough related reason i guess, the doctor arrives! smiles exchanged and there was no turning back! bid my family a last wave and i head to the OT, and yes i was nervous, why wouldnt I be! A lady doctor starts a friendly chit-chat, in order to calm and ease me, i guess she was the anaesthetic! then points out to the needle in my wrist, and said, ' the painful part is over'! thats the last confident memory i could recollect!
'is it over?' i asked the two first distorted images of people( the doctor and his assistant) i saw after the anaesthesia was wearing out! yes was the reply! that sudden happiness was too much for me realising that the surgery was a successful. i was being monitored in the room next to the OT. my family was allowed to see me now and by that time i was mostly in my consciousness! i felt happier! check out my chest, though bandaged, still could figure out the flatness! man it was a feeling! 2 hours for the surgery, and another 2 hours of being monitored i was finally taken to my suite on the 4th floor, which was a treat!
had trouble urinating a first few times rest no pain yet! after a 12 hour fast pre surgery and i was finally allowed to eat! a cup of warm tea and snackers did a good job! evening reached, a slight discomfort, which is easily bearable, i decided to stay at the hospital overnight for safety issues! nurses were taking good responsive and taking good care! only thing bothered me was i couldnt sleep till morning, dont know why and yes i couldnt pass stool since the surgery maybe because of the meds! that part was irritating, rest no complains! and yes i was provide d with a corset in the evening of the surgery day! the dressing before putting on the corset hurts a little though! and also the corset is quite uncomfortable, a really tight hug, it feels like, that too for 2 weeks! but got used too it and c'mon you need to compromise atleast that much!
by 12 noon , wounds were again dressed, checked by tdoctors, and finally changed into my own clothes and ready to leave for home! and so now as i said days post surgery i am writing this review, in order to motivate everyone suffering from it and plan to get the surgery! dont delay! love and light!
nothing makes me happier than looking myself in the mirror everytime i open my corset to apply medicines! thanks Dr. Milind Doshi!
