Absolute life-changer! I Barely even recognized myself in the before pictures

Dr. Chaiet is absolutely fantastic!! I had FFS (Type 3 forehead reconstruction + tracheal shave) with him in October 2020, and my results have been even more life-changing than I could have possibly imagined.
From the very first consultation, Dr Chaiet really flipped my expectation of what surgeons are like on it's head. I had a list of procedures I was interested in, and he helped me narrow that down based on what insurance would cover, as well as which procedures he was best at. I expected many insurance headaches in trying to get this procedure approved, but they seem quite experienced at dealing with insurance companies, so I didn't have any issues. He also gave me a referral to another surgeon that specialized in jaw work (which I didn't end up getting), but that gave me the confidence that the procedures I did get through him would be exceptional.
Surgery, recovery, and follow-ups were quite smooth, even with the pandemic going on. The first week of recovery is rough due to swelling and staples, but I felt like I was back to normal around the 2 week mark. By the 2 month follow-up, I barely even recognized myself in the before pictures!!
Overall, I'm exceptionally happy with my forehead results, and somewhat happy with my trachea shave. I think my expectations for the trach shave were unrealistic in retrospect, and I'm confident that Dr. Chaiet removed everything that he could safely do. The scar on my neck is visible if you look for it, but as time goes on it continues to fade. The scars on my forehead/hairline blend in seamlessly, which is awesome as they are much more visible.
I really can't recommend Dr. Chaiet enough- he might not have the decades of experience of other FFS surgeons (yet!), but you'd be hard pressed to find a surgeon that is more kind, caring, AND talented as him.
