I want to compete as body builder in 2015 and I knew I had bad "gyno". (Glands behind the nipples) It started when I went through puberty and over the years it got more and more noticeable. Even when I leaned down the shape of my pecs was noticeably distorted and I was self conscious to say the least. not to mention I couldn't expect to win a show by any means.
I had tried 'cheap lipo' but that was worthless and in fact made the gyno worse by just spreading it around a larger area. The 'Vegas lipo clinic' I went to had to have known that there was no way in hell they would be able to use just liposuction to get rid of such huge glands but they of course weren't going to tell me that. So I wasted 2500 for nothing.
Two years later I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Emer whom I heard about through a friend. The consultation was free so I said why not and scheduled one. Dr. Emer walked in the exam room and the first words were "Hi there. Oh yeah this is gonna look great. Here's what we're gonna do". There was another consultation and I had to get some blood drawn for lab work and then the day of the surgery. It took about 4 hours and I was conscious the whole time although I don't remember a thing. I had no pain whatsoever, not even soreness although there was some bruising and swelling. I took a vial of arnica 200 a day and used arnica gel daily for three days and presto the bruising and swelling vanished. The most annoying part was not being able to lift and having to wear a hot, itchy chest compression vest for three weeks.
Its been almost 40 days and there is no swelling or bruising or soreness. My glands were bigger than eggs (seriously), so my nipples had inverted to fill that space, which was completely expected. My right nipple has filled back out on its own but my left nipple is still in the process. My chest is much more defined because Dr. Emer used the 'laser lipo' to remove fat that was around the glands after he removed the glands manually. I am thrilled with the results and it'll continue to tighten and will look even better over the next 4-5 months. I don't have the before and after pics we took but I will ask Dr. Emer for them so I can post them when I update this.
I cannot recommend Dr. Emer and his nurse staff higher. Any athletic man with gyno, that wants to look athletic shirtless, would benefit from Dr. Emer's skills.
