I recently had PAL liposuction on my love handles...

I recently had PAL liposuction on my love handles and abdomen. I was working out at the gym and it just didn’t seem to be enough to give me the results I wanted. I am a 35 yr old male. I had research a lot before hand and decided to go with PAL, mostly because I found a great doctor that took the time to explain the differences between all the procedures; Dr. Hooman Khorasani. He recommended PAL with twilight anesthesia. I was a bit doubtful about the twilight but because it was performed in a hospital I felt secure. The procedure was performed as a learning procedure for Dr. Khorasani’s Chief resident Dr. Jason Emer which enabled me to get a great price of $2000 per area. Days before the surgery Dr. Khorasani made sure I had all I needed for the day of and days after surgery. From ice packs, abs support to Spanx, he was very specific of what he wants and what is needed for best results. As for the surgery itself- I don’t remember much. I was marked with a marker, I took valium and a pain killer, laid on the table, got a shot and next thing I knew I woke up in my bed at home. The support staff, from nurses to admins at the hospital (Mt. Sinai) all seemed very caring and professional. For the next week I kept the Spanx on and the ab support band. The pain wasn’t too bad but my movement was limited, to avoid pain. A lot of my pain was on my back from the belt-like ab support. I went to work a week later and to the gym 10 days later. It is now 30 days since the procedure and I am extremely happy with the results. I am actually amazed at how good the results are.

I had a PAL procedure done at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan , NY under the auspices of Dr Hooman Khorasani , and it was with his Chief Resident Jason Emer. The procedure cost $2000 per area and I had 2 areas done. From the initial consultation to the hospital staff to the support staff to the actual procedure, inclusive of the after care and medical follow up I was treated like a VIP. The staff was in good spirits and assisted me throughout the procedure and the doctor that performed the procedure under Dr Hooman Khorasani’s tutelage seemed to have special techniques and medical apparatus to ensure good results. Though not a doctor I feel that the surgical skill is directly correlated with the final results. It is the time taken to perform the work which in my case, I was very happy with the results. The doctor / medical team was professional, courteous, and very informative. They communicated with me and addressed all relevant issues and concerns and questions that I had. The doctors were readily available and extremely professional instilling confidence in me that the procedure would work out fine. They let me know what would happen and what to expect for every step of the process. They provided me with proper expectations and an accurate assessment of the pain level, pain management, aftercare and expectations for results. I am very happy I had the surgery and recommend the doctors for others who may be nervous or have doubts about the procedure, pain, medical team or results.
