thank you! Honestly, I can almost hardly believe my eyes.. yes, prior to the laser treatment, I had skin that was actually rather good for my age. I had acne from my late teens through my 30's... my skin was thick and oily... so, in my younger years, I prayed that I would not wrinkle much in my later years... this bore out to be true... I only had some looseness that I wanted so much to lose.. when I look in the mirror now, I feel so uplifted... the recovery from my laser treatment was not easy.. my face had swelling to the point that I was pretty much unrecognizable... I was holed up for a solid 2 weeks... but then the process became exhilarating as I slowly healed.. I saw a face that took me back a good 20 years... the next procedures I want to tackle.. will be tightening of upper eye lids, laser for my neck, and then upper arm lipo, nip, and tuck... I want my arms to look like they are 40 years old as well... I am currently growing out my grey hair, but I want lots more shine, so something has to happen with my hair...

Mt. Pleasant, SC is where I had the surgery done. In July it will be 2 years. I should upload a new pic. I let my natural silver hair grow out. I got tired of fighting the white roots. I have been very happy with how this turned out. The machine was Cynosure.

I had one small acne scar and some fine wrinkles under my eyes... and that was for the most part... the sum total... I had very thick, oily skin as a young person which made me have acne through my 30's... when I was a teenager, all of my friends had peaches and cream skin.... thought life wasn't fair.... AND LIFE ISN'T FAIR.... because now their fine skin has gone to massive wrinkles... and NOW I have the advantage in terms of smooth skin... in my 20's I kept telling myself that I would not wrinkle up in my late years.... so I am thrilled that the co2 basically wiped away the few defects and has tightened up the laxity which was so not how I feel on the inside... I love looking my best and you can fault me for it... THANK YOU FOR YOUR SWEET OBSERVATION AND COMMENT!

I am someone who went through horribly pimples in my 20's and 30's! I had a CO2 treatment in 1998, the early days! My skin was great for a number of years, but is showing lots of eye-wrinkles at age 65. I will probably do CO2 again, but the redness after the last treatment didn't go away for 3 years!

P.S.: what makeup are you using to cover your current redness?
It looks so PERFECT!

obagi ---- called "breathable concealer".. equally important is the pressed powder by bare minerals which has a yellow tint to offset the redness.... then I add bronzer.. everyday gets a bit better... my daughter tells me that I have this airbrushed look...

Wow you look great! I am glad you had such a positive experience. Did you have a fractional ablative procedure or a full ablative procedure? What is your skin care routine? I am envious of your high cheek bone structure...Btw Thank you for all the helpful comments.

You look great! Definitely not 62!! Your cheeks look significantly larger ‘after”.. which makes a nice difference in the youthful lifted look! Are the fuller cheeks from the laser treatment alone or other treatments such as cheek implants, fillers, fat grafting??? My cheeks are deflating and fillers only last about 6 months on me.. so just not an option to maintain. Thanks for the reply in advance.. you look fantastic!

Had to wear a chin strap for the lipo work... and finally was free of the chin strap 4 weeks post surgery... the chin strap irritated my face so so much... so I decided to start back on the frozen peas and this is helping my face calm down more and better...
