I have struggled with my thighs since I was young. I played a lot of sports and developed thick and muscular thighs and calves. Once I stopped playing sports the muscle turned to flab. No matter what exercises I do, my thighs are the last place I lose weight. I had recently lost 25 lbs and decided to take matters a step further and try cool sculpting. I spent a lot of time researching this procedure and discovered a "cool sculpting" informational session at a local well reviewed Dermatology office. They were having a special for the summer buy one cycle and get the second session 1/2 off. I decided to do my inner and outer thighs and was very excited at the idea of decreasing the size of my legs. First they did the large applicator (2 points) on both outer thighs. This was a paddle like applicator that is strapped on. The initial feeling is cold and then numbing. This cycle lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. Next my inner thighs were done separately for 1 hour each. The pinching device was used on this area. The original suction hurt, I won't lie. It pinches something fierce. But that only lasted a minute then it was numb. The total treatment lasted about 4 hours. The unique thing about this office is they offer shock wave therapy called the "Fat Cracker" in conjunction with the CoolScultping treatment. Fat Cracker, or Shock Wave Therapy, is a wand-like technology that uses shockwaves to treat the weakness of the connective tissues of the frozen fat after the procedure. It is gentle and doesn't hurt but the machine is loud. The addition of the fat cracker is suppose to offer 20% better results in a shorter time frame (from 12 to 8 weeks) The Fat Cracker takes the place of the post massage that is usually performed manually by the tech with their hands.
I had some mild bruising and tenderness afterwards, but really nothing too terribly bad. It was numb and still is 2 weeks later and itches. It feels like an itch you just can't get relief from. The skin doesn't itch but the tissue underneath is very itchy and it's an itch that you just can't reach. Will update with pics soon.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.  I had not heard of the Fat Cracker and I'm wondering if anyone else in the community has had experience with it.  Were you able to resume normal activity soon after the procedure? Keep us updated and share pics, if you'd like.

yes. I'm not sure if it helped all that much but it sounded like it helped while it was being done. lol.... (think of what a firecracker sounds like and that is the sound it made over and over).

just wait till you go through menopause in a couple of years, I never had stomach fat EVER. NOW I can barely button my pants. it's really upsetting, enjoy your curves, and try to really stick to a low carb diet the next 8 years. lift weights and exercise. :(

I can say that yes this did help me (a little). My "saddle bags" are much smaller but....I still have them. I have also lost weight by changing my diet and including exercise. This is not a "miracle" and is only helpful if you have an area that needs just a little help. If you are looking for a drastic difference lipo is a better choice. Honestly, the amount I paid for this would have been better spent on liposuction.
