Less swelling but my breasts are a bit asymmetrical.
four weeks post op and hubs is still unsupportive
I am just over 4 weeks today and while the swelling in my abdomen and breasts are going down i'm starting to worry. My husband has not been very supportive since the week before I had surgery. At first I thought it was due to fear of something going wrong, but now I don't know what to think. He barely talks to me, rarely touches me and I don't know what to do to fix it. I waited and saved for so such a long time for this mommy makeover, and now I can't even enjoy the results. Just the other day we got into a heated discussion and he revealed that he didn't see a difference at all, like I wasted my money. I see a huge difference even with all of the swelling. I have even lost weight; I'm down to 187 pounds. My feelings are beyond hurt, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation.
Post op day 18 still some aches and pains.
It seems as if all of my nerves are coming back to life. My breasts are constantly tingling and severely sensitive to touch. Gauze padding helps prevent alot of friction when wearing the compression bra. My back aches due to being hunched over and it feels like someone set off a forest fire anytime I attempt to lay down. The muscle relaxers are my best friend. I never forget to take the stool softner at night because I despise constipation. I continue to take short walks and trips to Walmart. The swelling in my abdomen and breasts are still an issue. I bought a new compression garment in a smaller size as the one that my PS provided has become a tad bit too loose for my liking. Let's hope this one from Walmart does the job.
