I was having work done at the spa where Dr. Goodman has his practice and decided that since I was already familiar with the place that I would go to him for tumescent lipo on my thighs. BIG mistake. He botched the front of my thigh, taking out too much fat that resulted in a dent in the front of my thigh. When I complained about the result, he told me again (he told me this when he first saw the botch too) that no one could see the dent, which was untrue (unless I wear very baggy pants or a-line skirts or dresses,). The deformity that he caused is very obvious. I had to buy more clothes to hide the dent and haven’t been able to comfortably wear bathing suits, and most importantly I am reduced to tears every time I look at it. Because of the results of the lipo and Dr. Goodman’s remarks about the botch, I had absolutely no confidence to have him repair my leg. Instead, I consulted with a few Board Certified plastic surgeons who all suggested that I go back to Dr. Goodman to repair the botch. It was their opinion that Dr. Goodman should know how to repair what he did. With every alarm going off inside me, I nevertheless returned to have him do the repair. My great apprehension that all would go wrong again was unfortunately and fully realized. I returned to his office this year and was prepped and waiting for him to begin the procedure on me. Instead, he had me waiting while he did another lipo procedure. Evidently the lipo procedure would pay him more money than a fat transfer. When he finally performed the fat transfer procedure on me, it was as if he forgot that he was repairing the dent because he ended up putting the fat in the wrong thigh. As a result, one leg is now bigger than the other, and the dent in my leg still remains. In the follow up visit with Dr. Goodman after his failed attempt at the fat transfer, he insisted that I told him to apply the fat transfer to the leg that did not have the dent. Why would I ask him to do that? I found our exchange to be deeply bizarre and very unsettling at this point. We had talked about the deformed area on my thigh numerous times prior to the fat transfer, so for him to so adamantly state that I wanted him to put the fat where it wasn’t needed was alarmingly disturbing. Perhaps it wouldn’t have been so alarming if he would have admitted that he made a mistake. And he also insulted me in the course of that conversation. There are many competent board certified plastic surgeons in the Westchester area who perform tumescent lipo. He is not a PCFAC– he is an M.D. Both of my procedures with Dr. Goodman were disastrous and an epic fails. I wouldn’t recommend him to an enemy. The results of his shoddy work is something I would expect from a doctor’s clinic in a third world country, but certainly not here in Westchester County, NY. Dr. Goodman now wants me to pay him to have him attempt to repair the dent again. I allowed him to ruin my thighs twice. He can move on to ruining someone else’s body who is unfortunate enough to become his patient. Instead I will now have to pay thousands of dollars to correct his incompetent work.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm starting to believe that the best doctors for plastic surgery are located in Brazil and Colombia.
