Before and After Pictures Using my Own Personal Derma Pen

ORIGINAL POST

I'm 60 years old and started my first derma pen...

WORTH IT$35
I'm 60 years old and started my first derma pen treatment on March 11 2018. I use the 13 needle tip cartridge at a depth of .25mm. I did 3 treatments 2 weeks apart then I did the 4th treatment one week ago and adjusted the depth up to 1.25mm. This adjustment did bring blood to the surface and did scratch my face. After each use I leave the hyaluronic serum on my face all night and rinse it off the following morning. I avoid washing my face with perfumed soap therefore I cleanse with baby shampoo and gently dabb dry my face after that I apply the hyaluronic serum which has Argireline and Vitamin C in it . At night I use a SPF lotion. Here are my before and after 4 treatments photos

I purchased my derma pen online for less then $40.00 and it includes 2 needle tips which are to be disposed of with each use. I order the needle tip cartridges online, they cost $1.00 each.I highly suggest that anyone wanting to do their own personal Microneedling at home to adjust the needle depth to.25mm the first few times and slowly work up to 1.25mm. Be gentle to your face using the product and don't bring blood to the surface
what brand of pen and tip cartridges did you buy?
Hey Pamela, it looks like you are seeing great results already. I think that you will continue to see even better results now that you have increased your needle depth. I have been using a dermapen at home for approx 12 months- I always draw blood and have a couple of days downtime following a 2.4mm session. This has made a significant difference to the overall quality and laxity of my skin. I'll add some updated photos to my account in the next few days.
I look forward to seeing more of your progress updates.
I would like to see your photos of the progress because it seems my cheek areas are looking worse
very nice results!
I think so too but I want to take it slow so instead of using my derma pen every 2 weeks I will start using it every 3 weeks and mainly use it on my upper eye lid, brow area and around my mouth because it seems my cheeks are looking worse then better
I still think the results are wonderful on you!
Yes for my age I could have a lot more wrinkles. I used the derma roller once a month before going to the derma pen. I prefer the pen because I can use it in different ways like in a circular motion and in between small spaces on my face
Im curious how do you feel it made your cheeks worse?
what do u mean cheeks are looking worse in what manner?
Hi

I think your results are amazing in a short period of time & I hope they continue so that you achieve the results you desire.
Which pen do you use?
I use the Dr. Pen also called My M Pen.
How do you use it and what do you apply on your face if you are doing it by yourself?
I did it in clinic with plasma...
Was wondering if I can do it at home
