Reassuring and Experienced Surgeon with Good Aesthetic Taste
WORTH IT
I had never considered breast augmentation or any form of plastic surgery in my life before this year. But entering my 40s and no longer looking to have children in the future, I started looking into it as my breasts became deflated with age, affecting my confidence. I used to have a perky small C cup in my late 20s but alas it didn't last too long. After trawling the forums for some recommendations, I went straight to Dr Tan Ying Chien for a consult and with the before/after actual patients' examples, felt confident in his good aesthetic taste. He was also aligned with what I felt was an optimal outcome - a full, healthy, balanced look but not looking augmented/fake. I felt assured throughout the process - I went with his recommendation of Motiva Preserve 285cc Ergonomix 2 Demi profile (over the muscle) and adjusted it to my anatomy to ensure a good balance between comfortable recovery and aesthetic outcome. A lot of how the surgeon does the surgery affects the recovery process, so I feel it's important to find an experienced and confident surgeon. I recovered pretty well within a week or so other than a few groggy days (from painkillers / recovering from the chest tightness and surgery) - walking 11+k steps per day on a trip overseas about 8 days after. It's 6 weeks on now and my boobs have been looking more and more natural by the day. In fact it looks even better than the Vectra 3D imaging simulation which he showed me to decide on the size I wanted.
