Day 4 update
First few days were not too bad. Definitely more tough at night and I did need my husband to get up and help me readjust pillows in the middle of the night a couple times. I couldn’t have done this without his and my family’s help!
I’m being careful to move around slowly and not push it. I generally feel great and I’m hoping that once the swelling subsides and they drop a bit more, that they will look softer and smaller. My left is a bit higher than the right and doctor wants me to wear the bra to align them. I was going for a full natural look and don’t want them to attract too much attention so I really hope I went with the right size.
Doctor checked them up and removed the bandages yesterday (day 3) and said to keep wearing the bra and band. Such a relief to take the bandages off! I can finally breathe.
No shower for a week (except lower half of the body) and no massage either. Just go in on day 9 for one more check up and I’m on the plane back home. She gave me a week of antibiotics and painkillers and I stopped taking the painkillers today. She gave me the okay to sleep flat on my back but I find a slight elevation to be more comfy. I sleep it’s 2/3 under me at an angle (one is memory foam); one under each arm & one pillow under the knees. Basically like I’m flying business class on an older plane, lol. Since sleeping on my back, I’ve experienced zero neck pain so maybe this will stay! :)
Breasts are still warm to the touch, which is normal. I feel more tingly sensations coming back. My left is mostly fine and only numb around 4-6:00, my right is mostly numb including the nipple. Hoping sensation will come back day by day!
I start the anti-capsular contracture meds after I wrap up the antibiotics (day 8) and I’m worried those will give me migraines. Will keep updating this as I go!
So far I’m happy with my progress. I’ve been able to go out for short periods of time but I feel quite tired after. Definitely need to take it easy! Excited go out for a date night tonight, albeit in my sweats! Grateful that it’s winter here so I don’t have to worry about sweating or looking too covered up.

40 y.o Asian, 163 cm, 48kg and BF 2 kids. BA with Motiva in Korea.
I always loved my body but after breastfeeding two children, my 32C's were reduced to barely B's on a good day. They didn't quite sag but they also lost the upper pole fullness I used to have. My goal was to go back to a full B, small C. I am active and want to have a very natural look. Like, did she or didn't she?
I decided to write this because I learned so much from everyone sharing their own stories! I will try to share as much detail as possible :)
I first had a consultation in Bangkok, Thailand but didn't vibe with the doctor. He made me feel rushed and he was charging a LOT because I'm not local. So even though he's very popular and my friend loved him, I decided to keep looking.
I then went to Seoul and made an appointment to consult my doctor in 2023 October. I went home to think about it and made a booking a week later. She was warm and patient and seemed to get why and what I wanted.
I had my surgery yesterday with no complications (thankfully!) and I'm a bit stiff but moving around okay. The surgery took less than 2 hours and I was discharged the same day. I haven't been in much pain because they gave me a nerve blocker yesterday and today I've just been taking the painkillers the prescribed. As long as I don't make any sudden moves, there's just a full bruised feeling and tightness in the chest area.
We went with 230 on the left and 245 on the right, Demi motiva, sub muscle. I naturally had breast tissue and looser skin from nursing the two kids so I think I don't have as much pain today because of that. I slept 4 hours last night, had to get up and fix my pillows (1 have 5!!) and then slept another 2.5 hours after that. I'm staying at the hotel today but I feel well enough to go out for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow will be day 3 and I will get to remove my bandages and see them for the first time!
